    The toggle switch is for the tag axle. It's an extra axle that can be raised up when the truck is empty and lowered down when it's loaded. A lot of times they are air operated. One of those warning lights up top might even be for "Low Air"

    Nice find! I like the looks of paddle mirrors better, but power mirrors would be a cool feature on these older trucks.

    Every once in a while my radio turns on after the key is turned off. It did it the other day when I went to the grocery store. I came out and music was playing from my truck. Weird as hell. Now today I'm installing my speakers and naturally turning the ignition on and off several times to test...

    Took the seat out and cleaned up the nasty mess under it from the PO. Yuck. Then I ran the wires for the rear speakers and ran the RCA cables and power wire for an amp if I decide to put my subs in it later. Sounds MUCH better :) Sent from my iPhone 4s using Tapatalk

    I guess the filler necks on different sides never really bothered me because I rarely need to fill both tanks up at the same time. I could see where it would be a pain though if you were pulling a trailer and couldn't get turned around easy to fill the other side. I guess what I'm saying is if...

    I think that was an aftermarket grille they made back in the 90's. I've looked for a chrome square tube grille to replace mine, but I'm not sure they make them anymore.
