Said "fuck it". Ordered a new electronic gauge panel. Stock gauges and panels will be up for sale soon.
New 1406 carburetor came today. Tired of messing with Qjet. Ran like shit with Qjet which was rebuilt by one of the so called good guys. At least all the adjustments are easy to make with...
Gauges are driving me nuts. Ordered some clips and will be running my own grounds to the circuit board.
Trying to figure out door locks. Had them in before, but now have to redo them. That stupid clip that holds on the L thing is a bitch. Service manual is no help.
Cleaned out all blower...
Replacing gauge panel. Several issues.
Turn on key - pointer goes to full.
I know there is half a tank, because I ......................
err, umm, ran out of gas, then put 10 gallons in.
It's back.
Just got my truck back from the body shop. Why? Because I can't weld worth a shit. They installed both floor panels and painted it with rustproofing like the stuff for beds.
$300 parts and labor.
Next is gauges and dashboard.
No I don't have a picture. I'm inside and truck is not...
Cleaned out the cab of all the tools and parts. Cleaned out the bed.
Truck going to PROFESSIONAL welder to fix the driver floor that I fucked up with my feeble attempts at welding.
Either that or the truck becomes a 500 yd. target.
On my race car SBC 355, when I had individual lines from each valve cover going to the catch can I blew a lot of oil. But when I connected the two valve covers together and then into the catch can, not much oil. Go figure.
Just sayin'
