Time for a new radiator
I don't think the rating of the thermostat has anything to do with how hot your engine gets once it opens. It heats the engine up to the stated temp then becomes basically useless. Its like pushing a wagon up a hill. Once you crest it the sky is the limit.- 73c20jim

Need wiring diagram for accessory position on ignition key switch
Got my shit figured out. Have intellitronix gauges and instructions say to put key in ACC to setup gauges. Turn to IGN to get out of setup. Problem is the is NO ACC wire on the gauges. Ergo no power. Turn to ACC and gauges are dead. Gotta call these guys again and have them explain how this...- 73c20jim

Today, being Sunday, I did nothing. OK, OK I fixed my push trimmer. New carb, air and fuel filters, new spark plug, and the damn thing started on first pull. -

1985 GMC Compressor Wiring
Check the wiring diagram for the ac. The green wire goes to two other connect plugs that control the dis/engagement of the compressor pulley. It's got to get a "go" signal from both to operate the compressor. Wiring diagram for ac is very simple. -
