Steering Stabilizers - Singles vs. Duals

heres my thinking. all straight axle trucks come from the factory with a steering stabilizer. why? because straight axles need them. I'm not a fan of the argument people make saying "that's what people do when they cant fix theyre truck the right way". its just not true...otherwise they...

    1. are you running factory steering arm? 2. have you checked caster angle? caster can make a truck ride all over the place. 3. others have commented on here about sway bar. I have to agree.....I use mine. I don't have any issues with bump steer. 4. steering wheel is half off...maybe your...

15" rims over 8 lug 10 bolt front and 14 bolt

ok...so I'm in the process of gathering parts for my 14 FF and 8 lug hub swap. I'm looking at wheels now. I really don't want to buy new tires since mine are only a year old. Will a 15" rim fit over a 10 bolt 8 lug hub ? and how about the 14 bolt FF ?

well, plane and simple I will be using them again. my blazer is finally ride as smooth as melted butter. a CV style driveshaft in combination with ORD custom springs literally make this thing glide over washboard dirt roads and run like a new truck on the highway. mission accomplished

mostly the truck is used for traveling and car shows. we take it to Colorado and do the passes (engineers pass, ophirs pass, ect.) and have plans for Utah and Alaska. also we go to silver lake sand dunes. we actually don't wheel much in Kentucky. the trails here are tight and narrow and very...

    SOB np208 tail shaft housing

well...me being an impatient dumbass chipped a small piece off the 208 tail shaft housing while I getting the old seal out. its not big and right on the end. I went ahead and put the new seal in and it doesn't seem to be leaking and honestly I don't see it being an issue. its maybe a 1/8"...

ill follow up with yall and let yall know. right off the bat the seem like a good company. he knows his stuff for sure. one thing I liked was that he understood that I'm not ready to throw a np205 in the truck. I had to use my 208. a lot of driveline shops don't understand that you can modify...

This is for the rear. I have ORD springs. 6” total lift. ORD custom 6” spring in front and 3” shackle flip and 3” customs ORD spring in rear. I still need to get a front driveshaft, but I will be using a local drive line shop to retube the front. Much less money that way. Sent from my iPhone...

    ORD custom rear springs? Opinions?

IMO..for your situation I would run the tuff country rear springs. because you towing the ORD are not meant for that. with a loaded K5 and 700# on the hitch itll be too much.
