    New gauges installed.

I’m not really sure on where to put this thread...so sorry. Maybe it should have been in electrical?? Moving on. After much debate on ripping out my good and intact dash for a DIY4X dash, y’all have convinced me not too. And I’m pretty glad with my decision. I used jegs gauges. It was...

Cross over steering complete. (10 bolt)

I will check the clearance when I get home tonight for you...its a few inches for sure right off hand. but don't quote me on that. I did get the raised steering arm (not from ORD) and it seems right. I have custom leaf packs from ORD so I had no choice but to get a raised arm. how thick are...

good morning...sorry for the delay....work is stupid busy lately. so update, I am use to the added sway now and isn't a big deal. some of the added "sway" I was feeling was from the worm gear on the rebuilt gear box being to tight. so I loosened is up a bit and viola...she rides great now...

getting the heater back to working

oh man, I could write a book on all the electrical crap the previous owner rigged up. I have been since then trying to sort them out one by one. so I'm ready to tackle the heating. I have so many questions. the truck originally came with AC. it is missing the compressor and some plumbing and...

Loosing 12v when key turns to crank

No start update. I tested for 12V (with key turned to ACC) at the ignition spot at the fuse panel. I do indeed have 12 v. Then I checked for 12v going into the ignition switch (not the cylinder but the actual switch). I do have 12 v. When I turn the key to crank, I lose the 12v to the...

I didn't do anything for the porprtioning valve. lugnut4x4.com claims there is no need for one if you are using there jb6 calipers. time will tell but my immediate impression is that it brakes better than ever

    14 bolt finally going in.

Well I finally had a weekend to myself. Couldn’t find a tire shop open on Sunday to change out my rims for me so I went old school on them. Lol. I threw balance beads in them as well. I love those beads man. So simple and eliminates the need for a tire shop. Sent from my iPhone using...

    3/4 ton suspension question
