This was my concern. I would want to do that swap right. And start with a motor with low mileage. Wanna guess what that costs?? Exactly....I lost interest when pricing it out the right way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for the insight. I will ask him about a 383. My friend has one that was built by him 15 years ago and is still going strong. I briefly considered a 383. Are they any less durable than a well built 350? I drive the truck at highway speed often ....at this point. Has turned into lots of...

    ORD crossmember to clear drag

I figured with the engine at the engine builders, it would be a good time to Install some parts. First up was a high clearance cross member from ORD. Huge difference in clearance. My draglink no longer hits hit Uber articulation and sharp turns. Plus is looks pretty I’m very glad I...

wow...thanks for the interaction yall. I decided to rebuild what I have. especially I just bought a 600$ carb last year and have never really NEEDED fuel injection. I have always been happy with the SBC. so the builder tore it down. I spun a couple bearing from oil starvation. so new crank...

    Beadlocks

There are multiple reasons I went with the airsoft pellets. 1. the balance beads are super small beads. so small in fact that when you air down by pulling the valve stem core, the beads come out with the air 2. the balance beads create static electricity and tend to cling to each other...

Mornin. That is what Offroad power products told me. I knew I wanted the BFG tires. And I was going to buy the steel bead locks from them. They told me the bfg km3 dont sweat week on the steel rim and tend to leak. They really need an aluminum beadlock because the bead is thinner than super...

    Backspace 15" vs 17"

The rear is mostly flush. The front sticks out about 1/2” maybe a little more. It looks great. I just prefer thee wider stance. I’ll take some pictures today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I also looked at those wheels. you need to look at the thickness of the bead on your tires. thinner beads wont wok well on steal beadlocks. that's why I ended up with AL rims
