    New floor and question.

Make it so you can adjust it like mine. Look close and you can see the whole center section is adjustable. Yes, it is balance there when in the normal position but they always over center at some point. That is why the hand winch is needed. Here is a link to building it originally. It's worth...

    New floor and question.

I made it all up when I did my Dodge Military Truck. Shares the same cab as the Old style Power Wagons and will do the 2 other trucks I have here in the future. That is why I made a dedictaed set up to do the easily. I made some quick bolt on adaptors to use the same door mount. Uses the door...

    New floor and question.

Thanks guys. It's such a catch 22. Leaving just paint you tend to scratch it off and then you'll get to bare metal. With Rubber it is fine till you get a hole you may not see then the water can't get air to evaporate and starts the rust process. I do have some time till I get ready to seal as...

    New floor and question.

It is being redone as well as where the cowl met the firewall had holes. We have salt, brine, humidity and beet juice spread in the Winter which is extremely hard on metal and gets dragged into the cab as well. Location has a lot to do with how bad it gets and we are in the rust belt. It's like...

    New floor and question.

I've used the Herculiner stuff in a utility body but I think it would be a little too rough for a floor. The reason would be when you try to clean it out. I wouldn't be against the original style rubber floor but wanted to know if there was a really good coating that would protect it all under...

    New floor and question.

Going to replace most everything underneath with new metal. This is going to be a work truck so the floors will get wet from shoes and such. What is the best thing to protect or seal that has worked well for you on the INSIDE? Again, Not a show truck or numbers matching, just a working truck...

I made it all up for my Dodge military/Power wagon trucks. I modifies with adapters to work with these Chevy trucks. It bolts to the door hinges and door latch. I put a hand crank winch to make it easy to roll and hold till I lock it in place. Pulley is on the outside so you can...

It does have a Dana 60, TH400, Hydroboost, dual factory tanks and 205 transfer case\. I believe the engine was swapped as by the numbers on the Cab VIN it should have a 400ci. I was told all 400's have 3 freeze plugs per side and my block only has 2. Cast date on the NP205 is 2-11-79 so that is...

Yep. Made or modified all but one crossmember. It has a WWII Military body on it. Not Chevy so I don't want to get banned for showing. LOL

Here's the last 1 ton frame I used. Put a different body on it but lots of smoothing on this one.

Well, talking on another forum and found out there are a lot of bad decoders out there. Here is the correct one and it says it is supposed to be a 400 small block.

I was just sent this chart. The one I had showed digits 6 an 7 reversed so it is a 1980 cab at least. Notice they show X as being available in the 1973 - 1975 models. Think it would just be a typo on the tag?

Wiring is cobbled up and only the speedo currently works. LOL Trans shifted bad and ran rough. They had both ends of the vacuum line to trans off and the line laying in there backwards. Line was plugged on top of that. Works fine when it's hooked up...go figure.

May have posted here a while back but just picked up another truck. Sold to me as a 1980 with salvage title but looks to be hacked together. VIN makes no sense to me so if someone can set me straight I'd appreciate it. X for engine shows a 307 by my info but in a K30? The B for year has me...
