    Stabilizer

Thanks...Looks like a good setup. Some brands do not come with any hardware and it appears this one does. I like the understated look, too.

    Stabilizer

I need to replace my stabilizer and I plan to stay with a single. I've seen the ones from Rancho, Tuff Country, Rough Country, Skyjacker, AC Delco, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations? It's been difficult to find reviews. Maybe they are all about the same. The truck is a 1976 K10 with a...

    1976 K10 Washer Issue

I replaced my wiper motor with one from a yard. I connected it and it parked the wipers but did nothing else. I grounded a wire and it began working so I determined it was a switch problem. I just received a NOS switch from Philips Muscle Car and the wipers work fine. However, the washer pump...

    1976 K10 Fuel Filler

I have to replace my right bedside due to severe rust. I also have to replace my gas tank for the same reason. I would prefer having a gas door rather than the cap that installs in the side of the bed. Looking at the parts diagrams on LMC, it looks like the bedsides with doors have a different...

    1976 K10 Wiper Switch

Would I just need to replace the motor or would I need to replace the rest of the mechanism too? Do you have a picture of the dash with the switch installed? Thanks...

    1976 K10 Wiper Switch

Thank you for the information. I've already started reaching out to them. I'm within 75 miles from Modern Chevrolet so I might be able to pick it up. Has anyone been successful using an aftermarket switch on one of these trucks? I see the round knob type with the wiper decal on the front and...

    1976 K10 Wiper Switch

I've been trying to diagnose the wiper issue. I can get the wiper motor to work by grounding the right terminal at the motor connector. So, it looks like it may be the switch. I've removed it and found a lot of corrosion on the switch terminals. I cleaned them and reconnected it. Nothing. I...

    Sheetmetal Compatibility

Thank you all for your input. Really appreciate it.

    Flush Mount Back glass

I'm seriously considering that and the one piece side windows.

    Sheetmetal Compatibility

I have the opportunity to purchase two used doors from an 1986 c10. Will they fit a 1976 K10? Other than the front clip, is the other sheet metal compatible between the two years? Also, has anyone converted the passenger side round hole gas filler to the square door? What would be needed for...

    2" Tuff Country EZ Ride

Thanks for the information. I'll look into the brake line extensions.

    2" Tuff Country EZ Ride

I am considering this lift for my 1976 K10 build but wanted to know what I would need to add besides the kit. The kit has the front springs, rear blocks, hardware and shocks. Do I need a drop steering arm? Do I need brake line extensions or anything else? It's difficult to tell how the truck...

    350 Engine Build

What would you recommend for replacement heads? The article mentions AFR 195 heads but has anyone had good torque gains with other, less-expensive heads? For the Xtreme 4x4 cam, aluminum heads and a dual-plane intake, would a holley 650 CFM carburetor be enough?

    350 Engine Build

BTW - I would like to retain a fairly smooth idle but have the torque at the lower end of the RPM curve.

    350 Engine Build

It has stock cast iron heads but I'm trying to determine if I should replace them with aftermarket, possibly Vortec, or just rebuild them. Would the extra money for a Vortec top end be worth it or can I get over 400 lb ft of torque with stock heads and a dual-plane intake? Is holley the way to...

    350 Engine Build

Needing more torque from my 76 K10 and with a limited budget, I am considering rebuilding my 350 around the comp cam 12-231-2 setup. I'm looking for a recipe to get me over 400 lb ft of torque. Does it make sense to go with a Vortec setup? If so, what head/intake/carb combinations would be...

    Turn Signal Issue

Yes. Brake lights, tail lights and hazzards all work. I tried a new turn signal switch but the connector didn't fit so I couldn't test it.

    Turn Signal Issue

On my 76 K10, the turn signals do not work. I've replaced the flasher and even swapped it with the hazzard flasher which does work. The hazzards work, the tail lights work but the signals do not. What is the workflow to diagnose this? Thanks...

    Direct header swap

Would these headers work well on a 76 k10? What is the performance difference between these and shorty's? Any recommendations on a complete exhaust including headers while on a budget?

    Taillight wiring issue

It's a 4-pin connector that runs up towards the cab. It looks like the back lights were supposed to be connected together with the female end connector but the connector was cut off and then the wires were cut. I may just use a 4-pin trailer harness connector and see if that works.

    Taillight wiring issue

I just picked up a 76 K10 that had been sitting for 14 years. The tail light harness looks like it's been cut or the connector that ties to the main harness was cut off. Do I need a new tail light harness to connect it or something else?

    Body Panels

I am purchasing my first square body K10. It's a 1976 with a lot of body rust although the cab is decent. I like the round headlight look and want to use the front of a 1979. I also see that doors and front fenders have different part numbers between the two years. It looks like the side markers...
