    Steering column is soon to be done, was needing to run the wires for the cruise control down inside it .. Got a unit on order .. Also the parts for completing the dashboard are down to one item yet to nail down ... Was running some "Mickey Mouse" on the wiper switch knob in order to blend in...

    I have one for sale ... Built it long ago, got a world of goodies in it .. Still works as good as the day it went on line .. Reason why I pulled it was to replace it with a 4L85E .. Not for sale anymore ... Just sold it .. This will be it's new home ..

    Moving on to the wiring ... Since there will be a boatload of wires going though the firewall I got this ... Drilling a 1-1/2" hole in the wall for all the shi ... errrr stuff to go though, then this chuck of billet will cap the hole and the wires has a 1-5/8" grommet hole at the bottom ...

    Getting trick with the column .. Steering wheel soon to be mounted to the adapter .. Also got the tilt lever with a switch in the end of it to install on the column .. It controls the power cowl vent ..

    Seen a few for sale on eBay .. Fortunately mine still was working good .. Made a over the top of the trans mount to relocate it forward for the needs I had going on .. Made it to look like the trans shifter .. Trans shifting is a column shift ..

    That's what I did ... Running a 75 Cadillac Coupe De Ville column on a 75 K15 .. Being both are GM (From the same era) the wiring plugged up with no mods .. In the mode of installing a custom steering wheel on it at the moment .. Which required a special adapter for the telescopic...

    Got a idea on how to go about hiding the one inch gap .. Do a counter bore down into the adapter with a slight press fit for the Oem Cadillac sleeve ... Gap be gone .. ! The horn parts was a bit of work to load into the adapter .. Holes didn't line up plus the hole for the plastic nose...

    Thanks squaredeal91 Sure has been keeping me busy for dang sure .. Wanted the Eldorado steering wheel cause of the wood grain on it, but soon realized that wasn't going to happen ... A wheel cover with wood grain wasn't going to look all that good so I started looking at aftermarket wheels ...

    Buzzer switch came in, installed it and finish putting the column together but for the steering wheel .. It needs some clean up before it goes on ... Couldn't find a Eldo wheel (That i could afford) so the old wheel will be going back on .. It works ... Guess there's not many 54 IH...

    These are the leftover parts from the 77 Caddy column .. I have no need for them ... What I do need (Like another hole in me head) is the key buzzer switch that fits my 75 column .. Called a few places and soon found out that item is gold .. ! One shop wanted a $100 .. Eek ! Another shop wanted...
