I do have a concern bout the compressor having room without getting into the inner fender ? Was going to shoot the engine bay sheet metal with bed liner .. Might hold off with that till a mockup has been done .. Could be getting shook over nothing .. Captured this photo off of a YouTube video...- dragstews

It's aluminum .. 4 row, installed a two speed puller fan ... The radiator has a trans cooler built in .. My goodness parts for this old truck are a wee bit hard to get ... The invoice for the pulleys was e-mailed to me .. Seen on it that the power steering pulley was a bolt-on, what I have is a press-on .. Called the company and told them that what they're sending me is not what I'm needing ...- dragstews

Soon to see belts on the motor ... Got some work to do on getting the 200 amp alternator mounted up ... They changed the adjusting bolt from a 5/16" to a 3/8" .. Will open up the slot in the stock mounting bracket ..- dragstews

Cool ... Didn't need much grinding .. No more tag .. Now to mount the compressor and see how far off the belt run is .. There's the 1/4 inch .. Got a new aluminum water pump, be a good time to put it on along with the new aluminum radiator and the 200 amp alternator ...- dragstews

Get a few tacks on it, will take it off and weld it up and dress down the welds .. Compressor bracket needed some fitting .. A little grinding will take care of the ill fit .. On to a different area of the build ... Since I had to take the header bolts out at the head for room to install the motor mount bolt, time was at hand to mount the A/C compressor brackets ... Came off a truck that was running a THM 350 trans .. With all the wacky stuff I now have going on in the driveline department couldn't find a rod that was a plug & play .. The GMC K-15 never had that rod, hoping the union I have in mind will work okay .. Soon will see how it'll go ??- dragstews

Got lucky on the starter side .. Motor to trans strut rod was a plug & play fit .. Not so lucky on the oil filter side .. Oil pan will need some mods in order for the rod to bolt up ... Must modify the corner of the pan ... Be some work to do, but at this point I'm all in !!- dragstews

Powers out, over a million people are without power here in the Sunshine state .. I'm running on batteries at the moment, solar panels got a full charge on them before the storm hit .. Will have power for 4 or 5 days with no sun on the panels .. Trees are down all over the place .. Storm surge...- dragstews

New pan is on .. Was hoping to be able to keep the Moroso oil pump pick-up in play ... Nope, the two pans wasn't close enough in height to do so ... Had to get a Champ pick-up ...
