    Quadrajet tuning made easy

Thats why ive had em so long now. Thinking ill "use them one day". Nope...ill never use one again by choice. Especially 2 or 3. Figure I may as well get some $$$ for other parts. From a quick search its Looking like I can get about $50-70 a carb just as a parts carb and these work well so maybe...

    Quadrajet tuning made easy

How much is a quadrajet worth in 2021. I have three I think. I know I have two and, one is rebuilt already, and the other one just came off a running truck.

Yep thats the ones...The 6630s. Thats what Ive used in the past and just couldnt find them today at work. I think our internet has been limited or partially blocked recently on our work laptops cause I couldnt even pull up GMSB until I logged in to my VPN. Now that im home they are popping up...

Yes, another damn Spark Plug thread!!!

My main concern is that even with the high temp spark plug boots it is still making hella contact, and the plug boot has a flat spot already melted in it. It was missing today and I discovered that I had to change another wire out.

They both broke when trying to get the socket on to remove the plug. I have resorted to using a shorty wrench. These damn summit headers are tight AF around #3

Yes, another damn Spark Plug thread!!!

I have dozens of swivels. They dont make the plug nay a bit shorter though. I cant even get a socket on it at all. I have to use a wrench for #3

Yes, another damn Spark Plug thread!!!

:angry94: Frikken interwebs keeps showing me Accel shorty plugs anytime I search for what I want. Ive broken the #3 plug in half twice now while checking plugs. sick of that shit for real I want the shortest OE plugs that have the correct depth in the head for a mild sbc. In other words I...

    Longbed Inspiration needed

Ive gotten pretty creative with stuff myself. I used to work in a retail cabinet/fixture shop. We used them for shelving brackets for shoe shelves. We just put them on the press and flattened them out, then put a 90deg bend in them with a hammer while the end hung out of the press. We ordered...

New to the GM Square Body forum and I have a question

I second the Western chassis sway bars. Also 2.5" drop spindles and rear hangers/shackles for a nice look that rides exactly as stock. Just use shock relocation brackets in the back and its all good. Done this on a longbed and will do it to every one i have from here on.

I like those conduit hanger clips you fabricobbled. Great idea for an upsource.

I want to see some lowered 3/4 tons

Ill be lowering my 1/2 ton longbed 2/3 this spring. Did it to my last one and loved it. If you use spindles up front and hangers/shackles with shock relocation for the rear the suspension geometry doesn't really change. It still rides exactly how it did before the drop. No better No worse. Thats...

I found something similar that just came with the flange. Would be nice just to bolt something between the pipes without having to weld on new flanges.

yeah my brothers hedmans are 3" collectors and the collectors on my camaro were 3" as well iirc but both have larger primaries.. Im pretty sure one of those 2.5 i had were jegs headers. all them had tiny primary pipes.
