its worse than that brother. the stockers are 76cc. My aftermarket 007 heads are 72cc. The double humps from the 60s were 72 as well. the only real difference in my 007s and dh heads are the runner volumes and valve diamater. the 007 are 2.02in 1.60 ex- Swearbody

correct!! I thought the selector would be fine but wasnt sure at all Not sure about the wal255 in our tanks with our senders but Ive used them that way on mazda turbo builds You can find pumps that will retro fit like this though for our trucks all day and can probabaly do the wal255 that way...- Swearbody

You may be over complicating it. I didnt see this YouTube video but I can tell you ive never used a compression tester to set hydraulic lifters. I would go back and try to simplify that procedure. Yep! tbi is 14psi pump in tank vs carb at 8psi pump on block. Return lines on both are the same!! An ls is gonna need 55-60psi That may very well be the case. I was using a 7psi holley inline pump that pulled from the selector. I was unaware that the selector couldn't handle much pressure above...- Swearbody

If your selector setup works why not just install two inline pumps and an on off on switch for the pumps. Use the factory selector for swapping between tanks and switch pumps when you do. Adjusting your headlights
From 15 feet away I adjust mine to three feet from the bottom of the beam using a wall or garage door. I adjust the horizontal until the beams inner edges are approximately 6 inches off center line of my hood while viewing from the center of the bench seat. You can get either one. I have the original style ac delco g1852 /gm#12334869 like the one pictured that came in my head. Got it from summit. It even came with a terminal cap in case yours is worn out and loose.- Swearbody

I think the 882 is a fine choice for a budget build but i wouldnt buy a set if i already had tbi heads. Unless they have been worked for a spring upgrade and all. If im not mistaken all the 80s smogger heads are the same intake/exhaust and chamber volumes and dimensions ..just different castings...- Swearbody

I say keep your heads on. Buy an intake for tbi to carb swap and a carb, slap a [email protected] with 456ish lift and be done unless you want to raise compression somehow. Thats gonna make the motor happiest and give you all around better performance. Without raising compression they dont like much...- Swearbody

as far as iron heads look for "camel hump" or "double hump" heads. Best your gonna do with stock iron. Maybe some obscure 60's era heads have higher compression but good luck finding them. stock white $2 orifice tube. 51deg sitting still on a 96deg day in alabama... so extreme humidity. It dropped noticeably while driving though. Hell yeah Brother!! I just did mine on my 84. I was lucky and had a system that hadnt been open so i just bought a drier,o tube, compressor, and flush. Already had new lines, o rings, and refrigerant. Also already had a r4 compressor setup from stock so score there... I like that... -
