    I figure its best I remove the old trim and mirrors and really get a good look at the paint underneath. I know its been painted by PO so it may just get a fresh coat or two all over and then install the new trim and mirrors.

    I bought a makita mac5200 compressor about three months ago and just posted a review online and on this site in videos. It is a frikken beast. Very well made. Also just got a new digital advance timing light. My old one has the dial that never seems to stay put.

    You may have a market here. I would consider buying a set made to order for the 80 bumper..just food for thought. Guys have made a living making far less productive parts.

    They sell infrared thermometers at home depot for 30-70 bucks. I got my klein for 40. Point it at the radiator near the intake hose and verify temp there. Then use tool countless more times to diagnose many other things. Maybe not ideal but I cant think of a better way to verify both the temp...
