    Wheel cylinder link part number

These might work. They cross reference to a whole bunch of the squarebody drum setups, as far as I could tell: https://www.ebay.com/p/ACDelco-18060001-GM-Link-Wheel-Cylinder/1041938481?iid=151808644615&chn=ps

Not sure if these will help, but here goes (they are from my archive, no longer have the truck or setup):

454 out, in with New GM 502 converting to Fitech, fuel delivery help?

I went the in-tank pump route for my LS swap on my 88' R20. Should work the same for your 502 in your 89'. I bought two 5CA-400HP kits from fuel-pumps.net, and replaced the fuel switching valve with a new version (direct install, no mods, just supports higher pressure). I used an ACDelco U7000...

Aluminum Wheels for 8 Lug Hubs

Definitely skip the late model wheels. The offset is all wrong. I have a set of PY0s on my 88' R20 crewcab, and they just look bad. Too sucked in. I've been looking into getting a set of aluminum wheels with a better offset, similar to what Skysurfer posted above.

Curb weights for 1973-1987 GMC trucks?

    It's not 100% stock (LQ9 6.0L + NV4500), but my 1988 R20 Crewcab weighs in around 5400 lbs. Probably 5500 lbs stock, if I had to guess.

Dumb, no stupid things PO's have done to you

P-PO welded side steps TO THE FRAME. Oh, except the front, where they used the cab mount bolt, so it wobbled all over the place because it was hanging from a rubber bushing. Rattle canned red oxide primer over everything...poorly.

    Paint Gun Advice

Pretty sure he means a gun for primer, a gun for basecoat, and a gun for clear. Not literally a new gun for every coat, lol.

Simplified dual tank with sniper EFI

I've been running a new Pollack valve and dual in-tank pumps on my LS swap (roughly the same 58psi requirement) for 2+ years, not a single problem, just as a data point. No issues with priming or swapping on the fly (other than the occasional momentary light stumble when switching).

    L99/6l80e swap under construction

If you use the Tejas Steelworks mounts and trans crossmember, it will fit without cutting.

I'm so proud! My little 'cob has finally grown up! No more butt connectors! I'm almost teary eyed! :baby::bawl: In all seriousness, looking good, sir! :happy160:

    87 R20 5.7L Dying when Idling

You could always do what I did when my 88' R20 wouldn't idle or run right... I yanked the 350 and put a 6.0L LS and and NV4500 manual trans in it, lol. In any case, these guys will help you get on the right track. I'm afraid my TBI troubleshooting skills are a bit rusty these days, so I'm not...

Hazards not flashing after steering teardown

Was your foot on the brake by chance? They only flash if your foot isn't on the brake (the brake overrides the flash function). Simple thing to check.

What is your daily if not square body?

Sounds like it's a credit on his paycheck, towards the cost of the vehicle (thus, a "discount" on the vehicle). It just sucks that it counts as income, even though it's not technically "earned income" like you would expect on a W-2.

What is your daily if not square body?

Just rolled 43K on my 02' C5. Pic is from when I got it in Nov 16'. It's too dirty to take a picture right now, lol.

    NV4500

While I can't really help you on the transfer case issue, $700 is reasonable if it's in good shape. I would ask what fluid they ran in it. If they say anything besides the GM factory stuff (Syntorq, NOT synchromesh), RUN as fast as you can! It probably has smoked syncros. The only other...

    Reverse light power...

Yep. On an auto column, it plugs into the switch at the base of the column. On a floor shift column, it plugs into a small harness that runs out through the firewall, and then to the transmission.

Small connector under the column with blue/green wires. You can see it dangling here in this picture:

    Help me identify a vibration

Pinion angle? I had a similar vibration in my crewcab. Adjusting the pinion angle fixed it (though I have a non-stock drivetrain). Did they replace your center bearing when rebuilding the driveshaft?

    Aftermarket trans crossmembers

I used one from Tejas Steelworks. They are pretty nice. They have version for C10/C20 and 1-ton/crewcab. Plenty of clearance for exhaust. If I recall, they are designed to tuck a 3" exhaust flush or slightly tucked, relative to the bottom of the frame.

Fuel Gauge Pegged Past Full - HELP!

If you lose a ground, the fuel pump will stop running. Sounds like the ground may be your issue if that fixes both the pump operation and the gauge function.
