    400 turbo won't kickdown

Could possibly be the kickdown solenoid itself. I have no idea how hard it would be to change it though, never done one.

what is this part? What does it do?

AutoZone should have some available. You want to ask about vacuum TUBE connectors, specifically, not vacuum line.

Bypass and remove the "height sensing" proportioning valve?

You can easily bend the rear brake line off the frame rail and screw it into the rear brake hose. Just be careful and take your time not to kink it. No adapters or mods necessary. EDIT: Found a post I made previously on this: http://www.gmsquarebody.com/forum/showpost.php?p=206876&postcount=1907

what is this part? What does it do?

It's a check valve so the vacuum ball, which stores vacuum so the climate control vents don't change position with varied engine load, doesn't release all of the vacuum when the engine load increases (low vacuum). The disconnected leg on yours goes to the intake manifold. The hard tubing goes...

What have you done to your square lately??

Sure thing, I've got a nice big spreadsheet of all the things needed so far. I'll likely break that down into sub-sections and do a nice guide on it or something.

What have you done to your square lately??

It's semi-sorta driveable-ish, in a not-so-driveable kind of way. :P Still can't get the TBI 350 to cooperate, really. Should have my 6.0L/4L80E purchased here in a month or two and then it's just picking up all the assorted goodies to get it in the truck. I'm stoked to FINALLY be actually...

What have you done to your square lately??

Well, I didn't do it, but someone stole the radio out of the crewcab. Jokes on them, it's an old JVC radio only head unit, lol. They got in through the door missing the lock knob/rod, so it couldn't be locked. At least they didn't break a window or anything.

350 starting without fuel pump relay.

TBI trucks have an Oil Pressure switch backup to the fuel pump relay.

    250ci exhaust manifold

You may want to check someforums for older GM cars, you'll probably be more likely to find straight-6 parts there, I would think.

    250ci exhaust manifold

Not many straight-6 guys around here, but I believe you are correct in that the bolts are on top. Been a while since I disassembled one, but I think there were 4 bolts through the intake into the exhaust.

    82 K10 Gas Tank Replacement

I found mine at the junkyard. You might have to rig something up with generic filler hose. I don't know that there is a direct aftermarket replacement.

    82 K10 Gas Tank Replacement

Filler tubes are different between 16 and 20 gallon tanks. I'll get some pics, I have one of each on my 84, lol

    82 K10 Gas Tank Replacement

Sure thing, always glad to help out. That tank kit looks like just the thing, though I would verify the senders are the same for both sides. I seem to recall they had the fuel outlets pointing differently for each side, making them side specific, but I don't recall for sure.

electric choke connection without oil pressure switch

I don't see why you couldn't do that, if the pink/white wire is ignition switched. Though, GM designed it that way so the choke heater doesn't come on unless the engine is running. You might get weird choke behavior if you turn the key to ignition on/engine off before starting the truck when...

    82 K10 Gas Tank Replacement

Standard makes pretty decent parts, you probably can't go wrong with either one. I would also replace all the rubber lines between the tank hard lines and the valve. Use Gates Barrier hose 30R9 that's rated for Ethanol. I also like to use smooth stainless steel fuel clamps instead of the spring...

    different size wheel bearings

You need to find out which braking system you have to get the right bearings. There is a different set of bearings for the 8600 gvwr brakes vs the 7200 gvwr brake system. My 8600 gvwr C20 used SET45 and 15103S. Be warned that 15103S did NOT come with the race. It needs to be ordered separately...

What have you done to your square lately??

Got the bed ready to come off the 88' so I can swap the bed from my 87' on (it's in better shape). I also removed the hacked up Camper Special wiring. I have no use for it, and it was butchered anyway. I've also been putting together an LSx swap parts list spreadsheet. It's kind of scary...
