    Overhead tonneau cover?

I just re-read what 77k20 said about the sides rolling up, that is cool i like the safari look- that's basically what i'm going for. But i have too much time on my hands so i still might attempt my idea. And i haven't checked to see if their are any available covers around me; if i could find...

First truck, first restoration. Should be fun. 1979 Scottsdale k10

The current 350 isn't bad, But i can tell the cylinders need some work and the only currently useable part to us is the crank. Our budget has been all over the place on the motor but we think we would be willing to spend about 3 grand. I'm currently looking at a gm 4 bolt main crate motor with...

yea in the midwest rust is a big issue. especially if people throw wood beds in them which is pretty common here. We picked up a parts truck with a wood bed and about a foot of the back of the frame is completely gone from rust. We actually got pretty lucky with our 79' though - the body panels...

Here’s the update on the truck for today! here is the motor, we are unsure if it’s a 305 327 or 350. But it’s one of the 3 we just haven’t taken the time to measure the cylinders yet. It’s not original it was replaced within the first few years of my grandpa owning it. He can’t remember why...

    Carb upgrade for 250 I6 in a C50

Maybe instead of messing with intake you could try more performance oriented headers? That might be an easy way to add some hp just a thought I would wait for somebody to confirm that’s a good idea before you take my word lol

Thanks! I’m pretty sure that’s my uncle lol. It definitely had quite the life, my grandpa sold pigs for a long time and always transported them from the fairgrounds and back towing a big 5th wheel. After he had bought another truck i think it was just used to go from farm to farm, and it ran all...
