I don't know for sure, or how much, but the K25 should have a couple extra leafs and naturally sit a little higher right? Thats probably why its close. Also, my leaf pack is super tired. They are basically parallel to the ground lol. Again Im not sure if thats normal, but it doesnt seem right. I...

Brake Lines For 1/2 Ton vs 1 Ton

Hey everyone, Ive given up on breaking them all loose from the prop valve and I think Im gonna cut/replace the hard lines for the front brakes. I am only finding a set for 1/2 ton pickups though. Anyone know if they should be the same as my 1 ton? I only need the ones going from MC to prop...

Any tips on removing old brake hoses?

oh no, thats unfortunate... cutting it off from the outside actually worked pretty well. and i can tell you with certainty that it can be done without putting any notches into the frame itself. The most I did was scratch the paint off a little around it with the grinder. Didnt really take any...

Any tips on removing old brake hoses?

Ok, I call bullshit lol. I bought line wrenches, I bought crowfoot wrenches, I bought stubby wrenches, and ive been soaking it with penetrating oil for a week. That F**ker will not come off. The ONLY wrench that I was physically able to grab the line with was a flex head line wrench. But after...

Any tips on removing old brake hoses?

I think ill try that. Seems like if it was pushed through a bit I might actually be able to get a wrench on it. I dont know if its just my fat fingers or what, but it took me 10 minutes to get a wrench on there, and then of course it fell off right away. Thats when I threw the wrench and made...

Any tips on removing old brake hoses?

Im replacing the front brake hoses on my 79 C30 right now and cannot get the hard line disconnected from the hose. Honestly, I dont see how you are supposed to do it, there is no room in the frame there to do much of anything with the other two hard lines running through the same place lol. Im...

    HELP me decide. '91 S10

I think black wheels would look good on it. But out of those other two the US Mags would look the best with 15x8s in the rear.

    AC HELP NEEDED..

You use so little gas that a fire is highly unlikely. You only use 30%-40% of what you would with 134a. So the only way it ignites is if, somehow, it ALL evacuates the system at once AND you happen to have a flame or spark right inside the car. I would have to do some math, but depending on the...

1979 Crew Cab Dually 496 - Tire Wizard Needed

Something like that is what I was thinking about going with, every post ive read says you HAVE to use hub centric ones though... I don't really see why though. If you think about it, they are clamped together pretty good by the 8 lugs and the wheels are still hub centric so I dont see what the...

    AC HELP NEEDED..

To be honest, i didnt look up exactly how much I need yet. I ordered extra just to have it on hand and in case there is a leak somewhere.
