    NEW GUY PLEASE HELP

Welcome Barry, my suspicion is worn pinion bearings. The description of when the noise occurs, coupled with being over a quart low on fluid would point me in the bearing direction. Nobody knows how long it was driven with a low fluid condition, but a quart low means those front bearings were...

What fluid stains do your daily drivers leave?

My thoughts on this is the cause of those black stripes may be from adrenaline leak making the right foot press heavy on the accelerator pedal. This is a normal condition for car guys

What fluid stains do your daily drivers leave?

My 05 silverado daily with 250k has zero leaks, wife's 09 saturn aura with 240k has zero leaks. Ole Bessie my '87 has seepage from the power steering gear box, I have corrected all other leaks during my near 20 years owning her Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    Fiberglass hood

I don't have a source for you but pretty sure any fiberglass body parts will require bodywork. I like your idea of aluminum wheels, un-sprung weight is where its at. Another thig to consider is a fiberglass front bumper. I assume rear bumper being deleted if going roll pan? Do you have to keep...

    LS swap

Pretty loaded question. Depending on one's mechanical and electrical abilities, along with the depth of your wallet, should contribute to your decision. The $1500-2000 ls swaps DO NOT happen. Best bang for your buck is probably a crate engine (with warranty) and can add some upgrades depending...

    Th350 owners I need a favor

Richard, when you have the pan off seat the dipstick fully into the filler tube and scribe a mark on dipstick even with the edge of the transmission case where the pan is mounted. This method will give you the full "warm/hot" level when operating. Tried and true method, good luck

    Please forgive me...

Nice score! Others may argue, but that slant 6 is arguably the best inline engine. Those fvcking engines are bullet proof! Think you may have to change front K member for V8 though
