    52” front leaf spring setup

Did you pay for the info? It doesn't matter what you do for brackets, the details about the system as a whole are all the same. The easy way to get the info typed in here was to copy and paste from other stuff I've already written.

    Rear shackle angle

It's too steep. Or rather, it's less than optimum. The feel you'll get it that the spring will get really stiff when it goes flat. These trucks can and will have a couple inches of travel in reverse arch and a really steep shackle angle robs you of that travel. We've played with this and you...

    52” front leaf spring setup

I/we (ORD) have obviously put some thought into this subject over the years. Here are a couple books to use to learn more: Let me summarize: you're likely better off just saving some money and buying our custom front springs to fit in your factory front hangers. This is not a blanket statement...

    Correcting uneven suspension

If you needed 1/2" of shim to get it level and the spring was only short by 3/16", you're still going to have a problem. I don't think you've solved it.

    05+ super duty axles?

We've played with the SD axles and there are places that they can work OK. They're not a great substitute for a GM D60 in a lot of cases. If you're doing an entire drivetrain swap that involves an engine that works OK with shorty headers or native manifolds, it'll work. The high pinion on the...

    Door Seal to big

On a single cab, rolling down a window can be a thing too. The cabs aren't vented (or not vented well enough) and it makes it harder to shut the door. It's also a pain to crack the window to shut the last door. Installing some sort of cab vent could be a good idea.

Cummins swap transfer case technical question

Since this whole swap has a lot of good info and a lot of the actual solutions, I thought I'd add an important detail. For this early type RH transfer case, the 29 spline input has to be the early type gear to match the gear pitch on the planetary set. There was a change in the planetary gears...

    K-30 12v Swap

Look at Rob Bonney Fab for motor mount parts. Like others have said, you'll have the best luck with a trans that was native with the engine and even then, there's often a little bit of thinking involved with stuff like putting a G56 on an earlier engine. None of it's rocket science and it'll...

    4 Inch Lift kits

We (ORD) can make it ride nice but it's gotta have soft springs and they're not real cheap. We do more budget oriented springs too, that still integrate with the rest of the system so you actually have everything you need too. That seems to be a big deal still with regular lift kits. An...

Superduty Dana 60 into 86 2wd squarebody chevy

If you don't need the strength of the D60, you can use a 79-79 ford D44. They're also not common but sometimes it's worth putting the work into finding the right axle when it bolts in easily. Keep in mind we (ORD) have 2wd-4wd main eye brackets for the conversions. Unfortunately for the OP...

3 inch rake after tuff country 4 inch lift.

Did you measure how much it's off when it's parked somewhere level? Measure the body line over the tires for the most useful measurement. Not the fender lip but the body crease. Are they 56" rears? the 56" springs are a little extra stiff and tall since they come on higher rated trucks and...

Identifying GM Transfer Cases: Show us in pictures what you have with measurments and Adapters.

We (Offroad Design) work on putting stuff on a 4L80 daily. 32 spline NP208 bolts right on to a 4wd 4L80. No mods required. Figure 8 NP 205 requires an adapter housing (4" front to back) and a 32 spline input in the 205. 32 spline NP241 will bolt right on a 4wd 4L80 using the factory adapter...
