Nice trucks @MelbGMC and @Dave M.
I see the steering is on the same side us in the states. I guess they were shipped over when the trucks were old enough not to be modified for right hand steer?
Not 100% sure of the question but here are the details for my 87 r10.
With door closed I can turn the inside cab light and floor light on with headlight switch. If the cargo switch is also turned on it will also light up.
With headlight switch off and door opened the floor and cab lights come...
If I can't find the glide out one I'll just put the standard one on. Better than laying in the bed. I do have some time to find one since it's a project.
It seems multiple years had them, 70s and 80s squares.
I've never seen one fully intact in person.
I did the same thing you didn't on my 87. Put the wench style from a gmt400. Of course kept all of the original spare tire carrier parts.
Have you tried the temp sensor by the thermostat? Easy replacement and causes many issues if not operating.
Also when you set the timing did you disconnect the advance wire under the brake booster? Then set timing to 0-4 degrees. At least that's where I have mine.
Also can you see a nice spray...
I noticed my 78 k10 has the bracket on the right rear outside frame rail for the glide out carrier.
Unfortunately that's the only part still on the truck.
Does anyone have one?
Couple of pics I've found.
Agreed. I have them on my 87 R10 (dual in/single out like the factory) and true duals with shorty headers on my 82 k5.
Nice and mellow until you get on it.
Yes, someone converted to rear disk at some point.
You can swap the calipers for the 70s Cadillac ones. They have a lever that will connect to the original ebrake setup.

Not sure if they put factory stripes on the k30, usually 1/2.

Maybe someone else has seen that style.
If your tank needs to be changed I would use an in tank fuel pump. They like to be in a cool gas tank. This would require the 87 tank and fuel sender.
There are a few ones that will give 60psi.
Ac telco, walbro or the one I use Deatschwerks. You would also need the vette style fuel filter/...
