1987 Chevrolet Suburban 4X4 208-C1 transfer case question
What are you trying to determine? Do you need a replacement or rebuild kit? Not much difference in the NP208c for square body. Either 27 spline as you mention or 32. If you want an upgrade that came stock, look for a NP241C. They made them with mechanical and electronic speedo.- RoryH19

k10 1979 Replacement Wiper Arm w/ sprayer hose in the Arm
I know 85+ has the hose as part of the arm. May even have started in 84 but not 100% sure. I know my 83's jets are in the cowl.- RoryH19

Brake Identification?
For the rears, I would also verify the backing plate is the same for 2" vs 2.75" Are you sure the truck is an 86 not 87? The reason I ask, is that I was rather sure the 700r4 (4 speed auto) didn't start until 87. At least for 2wd. I could be mistaken. k5 started in 82 for sure. -

Power Doors to Manual Doors
Yes it's an easy swap. Just find a donor. Will you be keeping the power locks? Also the door panel will need a hole for the crank. -

Frankenstein Gauge Cluster
I used the same cluster for my LS swap. I added a tach to the open slot, bottom corner. It's in my build thread below. -
K5 body work
I did my inner rockers, outer rockers, kick panels and floor sections myself. Prices will depend on your area but I can say it would take 3 - 5 days. In my area one shop estimated 1000 - 1500 for mine.- RoryH19

LS Swap adding OEM cruise control
I have the same setup, DBW and to me it's much easier than cable driven. BTW if you have the 81-82 lever, an 83 will provide the 4 wire connections needed and still look factory. 84+ is also 4 wire but has the wiper control as well.- RoryH19

Floor pan or patch?
As mentioned above, replace all and be done. Looks to be inner rocker, outer rocker, floor pan and probably kick panel. Once removed you will be able to see the condition of the supports.- RoryH19

88 R1500 Suburban - How to go back to stock height?
Pickups will be the same, make sure they are both 1/2 ton. You have 5 lug I assume? Also there are 2 main ways to lower. Either with spindles or springs. Do you know for sure it was just the spindles? Also ones from the 80s will work, not 100% sure about the earlier squares. You probably also...- RoryH19
