    My 82 K5 has a 3" lift, 33's and 3.73 gears. It still fits in a standard garage, no issues. Can't compare performance since I have LS 6.0 with 4L65e trans.

    Does it do this under hard acceleration or all the time? Can you ease the throttle and accelerate without it stalling?

    My 78 fender antenna is in the same place as his. I posted a pic of mine. If this is a dealer added option I will probably just remove when I restore.

    Yep I like clean look of glass antenna. They also have a discreet module that looks a brick you can hide anywhere.

    I've had several squares from the 80's and everyone had a windshield antenna. My 78 has a fender mounted one. I've also seen 88+ burbs and 3+3's with them too. What years did they use each style and why?

    No advice on the springs/blocks but did you have to use a different u-joint when you swapped the 12 bolt for the 10?
