    Mine is definitely a 1-ton frame. I have the longer leave springs in the rear, the reinforments in the front for lifting the truck onto cargo ships, and the partial VIN in the frame is the M1008 CUCV (1.25-ton).

    Thanks for the detailed reply. It's not the bulkhead connector, I just did a painless wiring harness last year. I don't see where it would ground through a tab. I also don't understand why there are two connectors that go into the wiper motor for a total of five wires.

    I wish I could figure out what is going on with my wipers. I only have one speed and it is pretty slow. I've tried the stalk with the delay and without it. Only one speed. Any thoughts on where to start? Is there a motor resistor like the blower?

    I don't think I am supposed to have the W crossmember. I think that's another part of the hodgepodge that gave me a SM465 transmission. The truck should have had a TH400 and this crossmember. I tried to fit the W member inside the frame rails and was not successful.

    My truck is a hodgepodge of parts from an 86 M1008, 86 K10, and the axles are out of a ~74 K10. I'm not really sure I'm missing anything. Just don't know if it's supposed to be bolted or riveted to the frame.

    I need to replace the slip yoke and seal anyway at the output shaft. How much effort is it to remove the rear housing? Any internal snap rings or anything that prevents it from sliding off? I know the drive gear has a little snap ring on it.

    Assuming the np208 has the same gears as the 700R4 I cannot get the speedometer correct without changing the drive gear. Even then I would need a new housing and the smallest driven gear.

    What gears did you end up going with? My truck is a mix of 4.3L V6 and CUCV. I don't know which of the two my transfer case came out of. What I do know is the V6 should have come with 3.73 rear gears and my truck has 3.08 in the back. My speedometer reads about 35mph when I'm going over 50mph.
