    Broken slip yoke help!

I assume the pitted area is probably just at the end of the seal. I slammed it back together and I'll see what happens.

    Fuel Filler Neck

I'll buy a new filler neck, cap, and hose when I finally replace the gas tank with one made for EFI. I'm running an external fuel pump at the moment just to get it moving under it's own power.

    Broken slip yoke help!

It's pitted so I don't want to ruin a seal in the transfer case. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

    Broken slip yoke help!

Did you come up with a good part number? Mine is pitted and I don't want to install it and tear up my rear seals. The one I found is ~$150 though. https://torqueking.com/product/470968/d470968-1350-series-32-spline-transfer-case-slip-yoke-for-gm/

    Fuel Filler Neck

The problem is at the tank as well. The actual metal inlet is bigger. The only one I've found is a used one from hillbillywizard. http://www.hillbillywizard.com/cucv-and-k30-parts/cucv-fuel-filler-hose/

    Fuel Filler Neck

I actually called and talked to LMC to ask them to measure the hoses for me. They won't fit. The one for the CUCV is huge. I am guessing they use the same filling hose as semis and other large trucks.

    Stock M1008/CUCV Suspension Questions/Pics

I have been looking at ORD. I wanted to be able to use the truck has an HD to tow my tractor or car trailer.

    Stock M1008/CUCV Suspension Questions/Pics

Just trying to lower the truck so I don't have to climb into the engine bay to finish up the wiring and engine swap. When I'm happy that's all squared away I will look into a small lift. I'd like to keep the towing/hauling capacity high. Do the stock springs have better ride quality under load?

    Fuel Filler Neck

The picture is pretty blurry. Are you asking what my filler neck hose looks like or the metal part? I don't think I took a photo of the hose itself. It is very large compared to the gas one though. I took a metal part of a junkyard truck. My diesel neck is 2.25" at the metal part, 1.75" at the tank.

Negative arch? Is that normal or just a really worn out spring? Did you sell your springs? I guess I need a front set to get close to stock.

    Stock M1008/CUCV Suspension Questions/Pics

Yes, hence why I was inquiring about your 14 bolt. I'll write down a list of questions about the axle later today and send them to you. Basically, I'm looking for a period correct one with the right track width. I don't want the AAM 1150 version or one out of a van that has the wrong trackwidth.

    Stock M1008/CUCV Suspension Questions/Pics

I have six on both axles. I know the truck is a frankenstein. Someone stole the good axles from it and slapped a different VIN from a V6 truck. The original Army truck VIN was "rendered destroyed". Long story. But I know the cab and frame are the CUCV. I found the partial VINs on both. It is a...

    Stock M1008/CUCV Suspension Questions/Pics

Thanks for the info. I think I count 9 leaves in mine. Is the number of leaves common between the various models of trucks? Or is that number specific to the CUCV?

    Stock CUCV/K30 Suspension

Looking to swap out the hodgepodged lift on my truck for the factory springs from another K30. I'm in Virginia and willing to drive a reasonable distance in the mid-atlantic.

    14b FF rear end SOLD

Have any more photos of it? Any issues with leaks, sloppy bearings, etc.? My truck is in Plymouth, NC. It would be about an 8-hour round trip but I may pick it up from you. You said it has the government locker? I thought those trucks had 4.56 gears.

    Stock M1008/CUCV Suspension Questions/Pics

Does anyone have any photos of the stock suspension on a K30/M1008? How many leaves are in the pack, the attachment points, shackles, etc. Is there any way to determine what springs are on my truck? Number of leaves, embossed letters/numbers, etc.? I am trying to get my truck back to stock...

    Schoenfeld Headers Questions

Does anyone have an LS swap with the SM465, external hydraulic slave cylinder, and Schoenfeld headers? I'm looking for a photo of how close the slave cylinder is to the header and where I can safely weld in a new bung.

    Schoenfeld Headers Questions

I received my set of schoenfeld LS swap headers today and had a few questions about them. Is it normal for them to be so asymmetric? It almost looks like I got two different part numbers in one box. If this is normal and consistent with what other folks got I will try to install them this...

Windshield washer pump troubleshooting and rebuild

Thanks for the info. I'm trying to put it together from the butcher that had the truck before me. I actually don't have the washer fluid bottle, power steering fluid reservoir, etc. The main reason I asked about the washer pump is I'm cleaning up the wiring harness right now and I want to remove...

Windshield washer pump troubleshooting and rebuild

I don't have a reservoir. Not sure if that was not installed on the CUCV or if it was removed over the years. What is the second connector on the bottom of the wiper motor for then?

Windshield washer pump troubleshooting and rebuild

Any chance of re-uploading the photos? I'm scratching my head to figure out if my truck has the pump or not. It does not have the plumbing.

    Front Shackle hanger bolt

No, you are correct that ORD makes theirs at 4.5". They told me my truck has 4" shackles from GM.

    Front Shackle hanger bolt

I emailed ORD for what it's worth and they said the stock front shackle is 4" hole-to-hole. Their brackets add about 1/4" lift but the main purpose is to keep the spring from hitting the frame.

    Front Shackle hanger bolt

What is the distance from hole-to-hole on the ORD design? Mine have some adjustability but not enough to get to stock ride height.
