Finished up the inner fenders today. Just need to do some touch up. Might go with a side terminal battery soon for safety since the battery is a little higher now. I checked clearance and it’s ok, but just for piece of mind. -

He made it today, water pump is fixed. He managed another 8.70 but when came back for another run he had a misfire and only managed a 9.30. -

Deleted the old cruise control module that was derelict- and traced the wiring that someone astutely pointed out that had a circuit breaker on it. Turns out it was just routed power to the old trailer brake box. Someday I’ll trace the wiring for the cruise control that goes through the... -

Put on the Halibrands today. I’m adjusting to the look. Definitely has a proper 70s/80s vibe with the rear dish. I wish I would’ve gone with the 4.75 BS front, but the 5.25 is the only one they had that color matched. Rear didn’t rub at all, at least on my usual road bumps that I always drive... -
Side Marker Gasket
Just throwing this out there- I wonder if you could go to the screen door aisle in a hardware store and take some rubber thin rope and make one, or maybe a sheet of rubber gasket material and cut your own? Shouldn’t be too hard to make something on your own. -

Has anyone weighed a 15x8 rally wheel
My 15x8 rally wheel with a Cooper Cobra 275/60 on a digital scale was 60.8 lbs. Tire Rack is pretty accurate and lists that tire at 30lbs even. So that would mean 30.8 pounds for the rally wheel with center cap, and trim ring. Bare wheel would be probably just under 30. Should be in the ballpark.- ChuckN

What are you all up to today? Work has been busy lately, lots of sick people. The wheel shop couldn’t get me in for the mounting/balancing until Monday. Got a stack of stuff waiting in the garage, just need some time to myself to get started. Looks like the rainy season might be starting early... -
