radiator mounting questions
If you are in a pinch, and the rubber mounts you have are broken down or just plain bad, take some heater hose you have laying around, cut it in half lengthwise and trim it to size. That should get you by.- ChuckN

Quality replacement steering box
Really? That’s pretty cool. Is that a direct bolt on? I’m following this thread. My steering box is due for an upgrade, but I don’t need a quick ratio. All I do is cruise around town, anyway.- ChuckN

Not much going on today, I just replaced the hazard flasher that wasn’t working anymore, and while was at it, washed the seat cover and gave it the Mexican blanket treatment. Overall, fairly productive for in between time tasks. And by that I mean, in between the wife keeping me busy, ha ha. And... -

Today, finally got around to replacing the shifter spring, much easier than I thought it would be. Then I cleaned up the chrome on the shifter. The lever no longer looks like it needs a Viagra prescription. -

Was wondering if anyone had ever had temp climb to 210 or above before opening and cooling right down? I replaced mine with a 160 about a year ago and it hasn’t been driven much, maybe 1000-1200 miles. Radiator is a brand new Cold Case aluminum. What have you done to your square lately??
One of those days where I got off of work early and all the stars aligned. Dry weather, so I fired up the truck and got it right out of the garage and out into the country. Stayed nice and cool the whole entire time. No creeping up to above 210 at speed. -
VARMITS
We have had an infestation that has been problematic, chewed up the wiring harness on one of our newer cars before we even knew we had a problem. Some poison set around the perimeter helped and we also sprayed our engine bays with peppermint oil. Then we set to removing their food source, which...- ChuckN
