    not much room for the shackle to move back anyway before hitting the frame. I would have expected the springs to be a bit longer. Is it normal for people to have to move the hanger forward on a lift? First time chevy owner, but that seems dumb if the manufacturors arent making longer springs...

    I was under the impression I didnt have to remove the oil pump/drive portion and could just unbolt the pod and remove. The pod is hitting the rear runner on the intake. Im hoping there is something I am missing. Was hoping to not have to pull the drive gear shaft as well. I understand that...

    Do you need to pull the intake to replace the dizzy style vacuum pod? Can I just loosen the "dizzy to rotate it or does it not work like that? Currently the pod hits the intake and I cannot get the old one out unless there is something I am missing.

    that was it! thank you so much. still not sure what the hell that fuse is labeled as, but that fixed my problem. The other fuse is the cluster lighting for anyone who comes across this.

    unless its the instr which may mean instruments, but that checks fine EDIT: disregard, it apparently is intermittent. It is now not working. Im guessing that is my culprit. Ill have to pull the fuse panel and see whats going on with the back side of this thing.

    i do not have a gauges fuse, just the plugs i mentioned before, so maybe there is a fusible link? here is what the voltmeter reads at the 18 pin location with key on engine off as well
