    Bowler Clutch pedal?

thanks. Spoke to square root today, and he said he did not hvae one. Ill check with frankenchevy. Id actually prefer to use a wilwood master. I was looking at the bowler page and they had a master kit, super expensive, with an agled bracket. looks like a stock master has an angled mount as...

    Bowler Clutch pedal?

anyone have experience with it? My teenager really wants a nv4500 with the LS we are putting in, and as you all know, the factory hydro/hydro pedals are a bit of a unicorn anymore. If and when you do find them, they are 4-500 dollars. If the bowler is a decent functioning option, it may be...

    roof rust "paint?"

the sons roof is fairly rusty. he spent the day with a DA sander but the metal is still "brown" and not cleaning up and shiny like fresh metal. We are hoping to just paint it with something until he can afford a paint job, which would likely require filler up there to smooth it out. With...

    ls swap water- camaro pump?

the envoy ac bracket is tighter though right, if I understood your build thread correctly??? Id love to not notch the frame AND keep the motor back as far as possiible. The truck bracket uses a saginaw pump which I am fine with as it has dual returns for our hydroboost setup.

    ls swap water- camaro pump?

so what accessory brackets are you using? An envoy ac bracket, camaro water pump and truck steering/alt? was your clearance from pushing the motor forward? Id like to keep mine back as far as possible with it being a 4x4 and likely seeing off road miles. COG can be important for that...

    ls swap water- camaro pump?

i thought stock LS has passenger side inlet and outlet? The rad in my sons diesel blazer has drivers side upper port (return?) which I assumed was normal for blazers?

    ls swap water- camaro pump?

are you LS swap guys going to the camaro water pump and running a stock radiator? Looks lke that would be a good setup if the belts lineup with truck accessories?

    Paint codes

SPID and color pic. everything I see online for cobalt blue metallic seems to be prety shiny, or at least have quite a lot of flake in it. this paint, albeit being 40 years(ish) old seems pretty flat. Im thinking that is not the right color code.

    Paint codes

found my SPID sticker, though its different looking than most of the pics I have seen here. I believe my paint code is 90u which is cobalt blue met(allic) 06 according to decoderpro.com. Any suggestions on where to find that paint? also, the roof needs paint, and my son wants to match the...

    05+ super duty axles?

driver drop 241. Its gonna get a 6.0/4L80 as well. I put a solid axle on radius arms in the front of a big bronco many years ago, but it had coil buckets and radius arms to start with which negated some of my concerns. The radius arm mount issue is easy enuf to resolve with a "wide" bracket...

    diesel to LS wiring harness?

Looking to pull my sons NA6.2 in favor of a 6.0LS. The previous owner(s) hacked the wiring up pretty good under the dash. I have found several wire nuts, and dead wires. Basically its a mess. Id like to replace all wiring with a new harness, to run aftermarket gauges and the LS with AC. I...

    05+ super duty axles?

Im not looking at the 04 and early. Those require a lot more work to get into vehicles with either new spring hangers to go wider, or trusses and link mounts on the axle. Im talking the 05 and up radius arm axles. Ill try and amend the title to eliminate confusion.

    05+ super duty axles?

anyone around here install a set? I can get a pair of them for less than people want for a chevy 60. Several companies make radius arm kits for them (ruff stuff and WFO for instance). Coilover towers are easy enough to find, or make. The biggest concerns/questions I have are, how does the...

    RETRO-Mod: Jeep intermediate steering shaft

first pic is what my son sent me when it happened. The second pic is when it was pushed back into place as I prep to drill a hole through to pin it. Another site says it should be pinned, but mine is not.

    RETRO-Mod: Jeep intermediate steering shaft

beware: I had the rubber isolator pull out of the upper shaft at the steering column today resulting in a free wheeling steering wheel. Thankfully it happened in a parking lot.
