Should I go back with stock engine

You dont use the crank sensor unless you are using 96+ efi, the timing cover is debatable as the standard style will fit just be missing the 2 bolt holes. Either way those composite timing covers are throw away and are supposed to be replaced when removed or they will leak.

    Holley Issues Continue......

Saw this on another forum and just want to make sure, were there any spacers between the carb and intake when you did the swap? The spacer was removed and the guy didnt pay attention to the fact that he installed a squarebore carb on a spreadbore intake.

    Need help!!!!

The radiator support is isolated from the frame with body bushings without the body connected. Running a ground from the core support to the frame is a good idea as it can also provide a redundant path to ground to help avoid an further issues.

    Top end kit

vortec heads, cam, springs, gaskets, manifold, fluids all cost me about 1k when I did my swap. The machine shop installed the wrong springs and they broke. I should have done a ls swap and been done with it.

Is it bad to scrap parts versus selling?

If you are willing to pay 300 for the frame and then buy a bed dont they normaly go for 4-600? And he will deliver it for $500 sounds like a no brainer to me. Hell I sold my 10bolt rear axle for $100 if you can be patient you might make money on this.

Tired 350 TBI, suggestions to wake it up a bit?

No those wires are only for lock up, the 700r4 is hydraulic transmission and uses springs, servos and fluid pressure to determine when to shift not electrical components. THe tv cable for that trans is critical.

Towing capacity of 1500 2wd suburban.

The 700r4 was never meant to be a heavy duty trans, they were designed in the late 70s and implemented in the early 80s behind 150hp v8s. most 700r4s are rebuilt by people that think they know how to build one but do bad things to them and they blow up quickly. You would be better off switching...

    TBI " unswap " ?

Thats a matter of opinion if you are a die hard purist or carb guy I could see it.. I prefer to enjoy driving my vehicles and go for what is the least amount of work for the most amount of fun and reliability. also if you have no intention of selling it the only way it can add or detract value...
