destroyed hub- bought new "locking" spindle nuts
I dont know what it is, I parted an axle that was broken and tried to reuse them on a good axle I was building but couldnt find new bearings for it. I gave up and used a different one and the same bearings fit fine, so I tossed the spindle into a parts box. When I sold the truck I sent the parts...- 4WDKC

remove the t stat and the plugs in the block and run a hose through it, when I removed mine in my truck I had to poke through the crud that had built up so the coolant would drain. Then flush it.- 4WDKC

That is what I did with mine, it should also be noted there are 2 different spindles and the bearings do not swap but the slugs/hubs lock nuts do.- 4WDKC

Stalls when pressing gas too fast
I dont know shit about carbs so this is what I was thinking, then he said the carb was already rebuilt, that tells me there was a problem before the carb was rebuilt and thought it was the issue. Get a fuel pressure tester and check it.- 4WDKC

No there is a sbc 400, a Pontiac 400, and olds 403. The sbc is the only small block, olds and Pontiac only offer one size block in multiple cid- 4WDKC

K20 wheel studs
If you got the wheels from a newer truck you shouldnt have been able to use those lugnuts as they are metric threaded where as your truck is standard. if your remaining studs are damaged or you dont want to deal with this ever again get the longer studs.- 4WDKC

K20 wheel studs
If you have the shank lugnut that sink into the alum wheels it allows the nut to contact more threads and not be an issue, the issue of not enough threads doent apply when using stock OE wheels.- 4WDKC
