    Since you dont have the ecm and complete harness your options are try to find another harness and ecm to install or an intake manifold with the correct bolt holes and pattern to match your carb.

    I just swapped the valve covers on my vette because of oil being sucked into the engine above 3k you could smell the oil burning. |Replaced them with baffled ones and no issues now. We are coming into summer now, i would run 10w30 in it for an oil change and see how it does.

    an exhaust leak will cause the truck to run poorly fix any exhaust leaks. The stumble with the EGR is a symptom of an exhaust leak, the truck is lean and egr opens making it worse. What size tires are on the truck and what gears are in it?
