    knuckle and tie rod questions

My buddy just replaced those u-joints on his k10 and he said he had to grind down the corners of the caps a bit to get them to fit through. The original caps were rounded and the new ones are squared. Sent from my Kindle Fire HDX using Tapatalk

Don't feel too bad, we've all had situations like that before. At least I sure know I have.

Well it's a darn good thing you had it fixed if it's that bad. Don't want that crap getting away from you.

    Lockers

It's always better to ask and know for sure than to just assume and screw something up. I've driven with mine locked in at 60-65 a lot and never any issues. They're made for it.

    1987 Silverado Wipers Slow

I've always removed the bolts from the arms that the hood pivots on. Leave it attached to the hinges. Then with the help of a friend you can swing the whole hood forward and down. You gain 6 to 8 inches this way.

I would just take everything off but the visor and send it all to Pawpaw so he could have spares. My buddy had a visor on his K10 in high school and I liked it. Sent from my Kindle Fire HDX using Tapatalk

I would assume it's a standard length driveshaft unless your truck is lifted a significant amount.
