Vortec heads, and accessories quick question

Yowza! I didn't realize they were that expensive! I still might consider a set for my Vortec heads. I really want to run a set of Chevrolet script valve covers.

Vortec heads, and accessories quick question

Summit sells adapters to put perimeter bolt valve covers on center bolt heads. I have no experience with them though so I don't know how well they would seal.

    The Buick Thread,especially A bodies

I had a black '85 Buick Regal when I was in high school. I loved that car, but it had the 4.something V6 and when it blew a headgasket my mechanic told me it wasn't worth fixing. I sold it because I was young and dumb, and have regretted it ever since. :sad72:

True. Every ad I've written, I've taken the time to put everything anyone could ever want to know in it, and no one ever fuggin reads it anyway. Pisses me off when a guy calls and asks some stupid question when it's spelled out plainly in the ad.

Well yea, it's worth it in parts for sure. If I had some extra cash, I'd call and try to jew him down a little. I could sell that flatbed easy for $3-400. Probably more. I was just laughing at the fact that he says nothing about the fact that the hood is mangled and it was obviously...

    Turpentine Dual Tanks

I know they can be switched out. The bracket needs moved farther back for the 20 gal tank and the holes are already in the frame for it on a longbed(20gal tanks won't fit a shortbed). Then you will need to modify the filler hose or buy the correct one. Probably a couple other small things too.

Dang, that's cheap. For $80 it's not hardly worth messing with the old tank.

    No gauge cluster lights

In probably talking to myself here, but I'll add this for future reference. It was in fact a bad ground at the buss bar under the dash. I took it off and scuffed everything up real good and BAM! Lights! Lol. Can't believe that eluded me for 3 hours... Here's the buss bar ground in case anyone...

    No gauge cluster lights

Ok. So I went in the house and threw my load of laundry in the dryer when I thought of something... My PS tank has a bad ground and reads way past full. (Bear with me here). So I checked the cluster plug again. No voltage. Turned the key on; 3.89 volts. Switched to the PS tank and it jumped...
