Oops. Probably shouldn't have done that.

That is pretty close to what I'm looking for. However, I have a red red wire so I'm wondering if something has been messed with. This. Will give me a good starting point though. Thank you very much!

Im not sure. The ones plugged in the second photo were me trying to get them back in order. The first pic is of it originally before I oopsed. The switch has 5 pins. One corner is not there. Thats the way it was.

Oops. Probably shouldn't have done that.

Oh sorry. Its a 79. Im assuming it used to have duals with a different bed. But went to one with the bed swap from PO. The switch is what I posted. Nothing marked. 2 position switch. Aux and Main haven't tested ohms yet. Hoping someone would recognize the color coding.

    Running new taillight harness?

Well it was cold as heck last night but ended up figuring it out. Traced all grounds and swapped mechanical relay with led relay and had to bridge the two connections. Only got one side but it works! Sometimes the easier dumbest answers are the right one. Thanks guys!

    Running new taillight harness?

I'll have to go through and check all the grounds. I guess I hadn't considered that. The original wiring is still there and I was replacing it with a trailer harness as it has a lot of the same colors and is a little thicker wire. Weather here is crappy on and off in the midwest and I do all my...

    Running new taillight harness?

Forgive me that if this has already been discussed, I am new here to the search function and didn't see anything that fit my criteria. I recently bought a 1979 short bed Two-Wheel drive. There were no working tail lights so I have been working on building a harness. I have a few different...

New kid on the (small) block.

Hello there! Im new to square bodies and trucks in general but not to mechanical things so much. I come from a background of vintage two stroke mopeds, the ones with the pedals. Im a home owner over here in Grand Rapids Mi and have been needing a truck for a while to do renovation work but...
