    Had same problem with my Burb. Fixed it by replacing them all with manual regulators. I also deleted power lock actuators. Got tired of them working slow or not at all! Replace your window channel weather strips and lubing all the slides will help

    Go with the True Trac. I have about 16,000 on one in my Suburban and works great. My last truck had a OE style slip posi. I had to reshim the clutch plates twice in about 40,000 miles.

    They never put a 410 ratio in a rear axle 10 bolt. You can find them in a frt carrier of a 3/4 ton TK. Only difference with carrier is spline count. 87 and older have 28 spline for axle. 88 and newer have 30 spline axles.

    If you are trying to verify your axle ratio, the tooth count is stamped on the ring gear. just rotate it till you find the numbers. the factory locker is a weak unit. I would recommend a Detroit True Trac diff

    I always use a longer bolt and a lock nut on the steering box. I have had boxes in the past with stripped out threads.

    I sell tires at my work. Tires made before 2010 lasted longer. Nowadays most tires r getting pretty cracked in 5 years. Changes in tire compounds and uv rays r the problem. Heat and improper tire pressure also affect tire life.

    In the parts catalog a C20 C30 parts are the same. But the optional HD F42 C30 option lists different numbers for the mounting bolts and also the suspension crossmember. This may NOT be a "bolt in" swap.

    If you are worried about vacuum you can install a vacuum canister or ad a electric vac booster. I have a vacuum can on my chevelle with a large roller cam, have plenty of vacuum to stop.     Only factory 10 bolt with 410 in that I've seen was a frt diff for 3/4 ton. Lowest for 1/2 is alway 373.

    Help diagnosing power steering squeal

    Both my diesel truck have belt squeal when cold and on fast idle. Usually goes away in less that 1/2 minute. I recommend using Napa more expensive line of belts. They r very expensive. Have had a lot problem with the cheaper belts stretching in a short amount of time.

    i have 16x8 on my truck with a 315/75R16 (35") tall. back spacing is at 4" any less back spacing you have tires sticking out from body line.

    They make adapter plate for trans. I had a 355 SBC in a 68 Lemans. Depending on app you may have to rewire engine but it can be done.
