What locker shall I go for?

I installed a True-Trac in my Suburban. I have probably 30,000 miles on it now. I haven't had any problems with it at all.

Can Semi-Float Rear Axle Handle a Lunchbox Locker or Limited Slip?

I have a Detroit True Trac in my 3/4-ton Burb. Has over 30K miles on it now. Only had a problem with it on ice one time, but that can be expected for any setup. Mine is a 2-wheeler as well.

Air in fuel lines after sitting over night on 6.2

If you are still running a factory "box style" fuel filter, you could be leaking fuel from the water sensor. I just had to replace mine for that reason. It would run rough every time I started up my Burb.

    Module under Radio

That's probably your DRAC module. This was only used on 90-91 models with the electronic speedo.

Wanted: 78-80 Wiper Motor Crank Arm

They are different part numbers in the GM parts catalog. 1984 and prior is #22038927. 1985-1991 is #22054184. Not sure what the physical difference is between them as far as interchangeability.

    Front posi-traction differential

I had a clutch plate style limited slip posi in a 8.5" front axle on a truck before. It worked great, but with the hubs locked you could not turn on dry pavement. Off road it worked great.

Parts manual for '87 GMC 3-speed column shift.

here is illustration from catalog. I typically use gmpartswiki alot for older stuff because alot of info is missing in the current gm catalogs. The trick is to get a good number for your application. Once you search it in the gmpartswiki website you can browse through the original parts...

Cant find anything about keeping M1008 rear payload + shackle flip= front spring size

Only advice I can give anyone is a 1-ton truck will drive like a tank empty. I used to daily drive a lifted K10 for many years. I bought my CUCV to replace it due to rust issues. Unfortunately, this is not a truck to drive daily unless you use it like a work truck. Empty my truck will knock your...

Cant find anything about keeping M1008 rear payload + shackle flip= front spring size

I installed the ORD shackle flip kit along with 4.5" rear shackle and did the ubolt reversal kit. I had removed the 1" spacer that was above spring pack for the overload spring and installed it under spring pack like a normal lift block. My truck is a 1028 CUCV. My other CUCV is a 1008 it it...

    Bigger tires

4.10 ratio would be better. In overdrive you will be at probably 1700rpm at 65 mph with the 3.73 gears. I had 4.10 in my old Small block truck without od and it was good compromise for cruising/hauling.

    Quality replacement steering box

I put a new Borgeson box on my Burb. Works great.

    NV4500 swap behind a 5.3 LS

Yes when I bought my Burb the PO had installed the entire sealed hydraulic system from the donor and just drilled several holes in a mechanical clutch pedal to try and get it to work. It definitely didn't have correct alignment. Best way is to use correct hydro pedal and master from a squarebody.

    NV4500 swap behind a 5.3 LS

you can bolt up the late model sealed hydraulic system to your square. Mine was that way when I bought my Burb. I didn't like the pedal feel. clutch engaged right off the floor and the pedal was pretty stiff. I have seen swapped mine to the correct hydro pedal setup and square body master cylinder.

What size is my fuel tank?

If your spid label on glove box lid is legible, the code for a 40-gallon tank is NE2. If you don't have that code, then it's a 31 gallon.
