    Shade-Tree U-Joint Replacement

Thought I was having problems with my u-joints, but turns out, it was a combination of a few things. My driver side rear brake shoe mechanisms were out of adjustment, and that's what was making some of the weird clunking noise. Adjusted them, and some of the noise stopped. I did notice...

    Uh-oh!!

well.. replaced the u-joints.. (wrote up about it, on another thread.) It cured most of it, but it was my driver rear brakes. They were out of adjustment, and were clunking around in the drum. Tightened em up, and it stop. Needed to do u-joints anyway.. it's been years since they've been...

    Fuel Pump Replacement

Yeah.. I know, right? I was doing some more research last nite, and for the life of me, I don't understand why G.M. didn't make a provision for this, and do just that. I've seen other vehicles where the pumps were easily accessible through the bottom of the trunk.

    Fuel Pump Replacement

Hey guys, this friend of mine just bought herself a 99 Chevy 'Burb. Initially the gas gauge didn't work, but it ran great, then the engine started cutting out. Now it won't start at all. Fuel pump seems to be the culprit. Has anyone done a replacement on one of these? I'm gonna try and...

    Found something cool

Hmmm... very interesting. I have all gauges except clock in my cluster, and they all dont work.. my gas gauge will only read to 1/4 when full. Not sure if it's bad gauges or the circuit board (replaced sending units)

Can a bad printed circuit board cause the gauges to malfunction too.. or is it just a dash-light deal?
