Single tank to dual tank FIX!
Second tank wiring alternate suggestion. Run a single wire back to aftermarket switching valve. Tap into gauge wiring behind the cluster, run both sides to a 6-pole changeover dash switch. 10oz sounds about right, don't have access to Mitchell right now, may be some can provide that information. Originally should have been a sticker on drier top. New compressor might have that information in the box. -

Use same amount of oil going from R12 to 134. Using a little more oil is much better than not enough. I have never seen a trashed compressor from excessive oil. Nearly every seized or noisy compressor is dry. Excessive oil can reduce cooling but 2oz won't be noticeable, takes much more than... -

Does sound choke related. Choke thermostat could be too tight, choke pull-off needing adjustment or fast idle too low. Normally the timing would be set or checked first. Problem your having is you have no idea where the IAC counts are. If they are at either limit the EMC cannot control idle. Is the throttle plate tab against idle speed adjustment screw? If not check that the fast idle cam isn't keeping it high. Is the base idle set? Need to have data access to get IAC counts. Anything from a partially stuck open EGR to a vacuum leak could cause that. Computer has the ability to adjust within certain parameters these issues crop up when those capabilities are exceeded.- fast 99

That's why I recommended checking fuel volume. Vehicles with volume or pressure problems can be fine on level ground but if fuel demands increase [such on a hill] they run out after fuel in the lines and bowl are depleted. You need to do some diagnostic testing. Until then it's a poke in the dark.- fast 99

Not the seals, actual guide or valve stem wear. Known issue with big blocks. When running valve wobbles in the head, doesn't seal properly. Eliminate everything else first.- fast 99

Exhaust leak? power brake, easiest to locate with a stethoscope. O2 can enter if exhaust can escape. Loose exhaust guides can cause that and still maintain even vacuum.- fast 99

How would law enforcement prove ID on a vehicle with missing tags? There should be some procedure to do it or is the vehicle seized and crushed? Obviously, it couldn't be licensed.- fast 99

Not complete usually only includes a prefix letter or 2 and sequential numbers. Having a towing co had to ID vehicles to dispose of them. We contacted the State Patrol. It was very rare that they were unable to fabricate a complete VIN from the partial. Might try local law enforcement or...- fast 99

Agree it seems to happen a lot. Vehicle needs basic items checked before tossing parts at it. From years of doing diagnostics, it's rarely one failure. low oil pressure
Has it been checked with a mechanical gauge? That oil pressure is not a death sentence. A rebuilt 350 in one of our company trucks idled at 5-8 warm and 30 at speed. We were using 15-40 oil. RV cam is generally designed for lower RPM applications, torque and heavier GVW. They used to make cams for more MPG, unknown if they are still available.- fast 99

If you know the gear ratio and tire diameter RPM can be calculated from that. Unless changed gear ration should be able to be decoded from VIN. Lower cruise RPM higher millage. Higher RPM more power, less millage it's a tradeoff. What millage are you trying to achieve? By today's standards SB...- fast 99
