Not sure why you referring to cutting high pressure line . That is something you can’t do , unless like you say you want a fire . As far as screws near the tank , mine are 2 inches away of more , no it isn’t for everyone, but for most of us FBody street racers it’s the only way to go .- JeffK10America

Well if you don’t drive it , like I did ! The fuel will kill them nowadays , do yourself a favor , cut an access door ! I don’t like aluminum and plastic tanks. The combination of the 2 , it isn’t if it will fail ! But when will it fail , but price wise you can get a descent all aluminum radiator! My original... red seat doesn’t have that bracket with the detents , the blue one does not sure why , year difference maybe I thought they had a spring lever on the driver side , I was wrong- JeffK10America

I don’t know why just the seat hinge rotted out , unless they had a rag or something there holding moisture, surprisingly no it didn’t rot the floor or door , lucky there for sure , it’s weird I know- JeffK10America

My seat is in a 85 my others replacement seat is from a 86 . Both are the same . My foam and seat looks good for original, however there door window was slightly down and sat for years and rotted the passenger side swivel bracket or folding arm .- JeffK10America

I will have a latch mechanism later , you want have to fab one I will gladly give you as I am removing a seat and replacing it , my passenger hinge part is rusted out . Latch mechanism is fine . How long until you need it ?- JeffK10America

a lot of square parts in Georgia. Nice looking trucks , got my used radiator support in Georgia. Seems to be some beds around there , hope I can find a long bed dual tank bed when I get ready to buy one. Getting hard to find those . Looks like you have plenty to keep you busy ! Finally got something done , after the 2 months of rain ended . Redone my 2nd radiator support. Got my first fender sprayed and installed. Paint one section at a time , then water sand entire truck cab. Re spray it all . Getting cab rite first , bed last ...- JeffK10America

Are all 350 Chevys mostly the same?
Are you racing the truck? Lt1’s are great, make great power and are usually iron blocks and iron heads . If you get the Camaro version with aluminum heads .
