What have you done to your square lately??

"What have you done to your square lately?" Took it out on a wood cutting excursion Friday. Got limited by the daylight, was basically dark by the time I loaded the second tree.

What have you done to your square lately??

Weird, I'm only 3 years older than you!! There was plenty of white letters when I was in HS and in college! I never got into the Bro stage and painted everything black or had black rims and all black tires. Still put white letters out on everything I have. Wife won't let me on her Sequoia though!!

What is the best oil to run in 1984 C10 with high-milage stock 305?

I'm a firm believer in changing oil and filters. I sold a ranger last year that had 308,000 miles on the original motor. Ran like a sewing machine and just burned a little I mean little oil. I changed it every 3 to 4 k. Pretty much the cheapest oil change sale oil I could buy or Walmart super...

What is the best oil to run in 1984 C10 with high-milage stock 305?

I know your right about them being wet clutch compatible cause I seek them out as a readily available cheap oil for my 4 wheelers.

What is the best oil to run in 1984 C10 with high-milage stock 305?

You sure about that? I think rotella is detergent. And high in it. It would need this to keep all those soot particles in suspension otherwise it would turn to thick sludge in the engine. Soot is what turns diesel oil black.

What is the best oil to run in 1984 C10 with high-milage stock 305?

Your paranoid, it's not the oil:Big Laugh::Big Laugh:. I'm not saying your engine is not knocking or whatever, but the oil has no effect on what your hearing.

What is the best oil to run in 1984 C10 with high-milage stock 305?

I would use 15w40 but not the synthetic. People use it cause these are flat tappet motors and they need zinc. The EPA requires less zinc in oil now but diesel has more still, like the levels normal oil use to contain. You don't have VVT or anything so it doesn't need that thin oil to work right...

    PSA- Easy free rust prevention

Haha, I would of caught what I could catch but for sure wouldn't have got pots or anything good. Letting 8-10 gallons (if you didn't catch a drop in anything ) fall on the ground is cheaper than buy the wife new pots...heck even buying one decent new pot!

    Front bed rail bent FIX

Mine was bent worse. When I had it painted the guy asked if I wanted it straightened. I said I didn't care. I already have a eye bolt up under that rail from previous owner who said he tied his ATV or something to it. And he just pulled on that and gave the same effect

    PSA- Easy free rust prevention

I'm going to get some of that lanolin or rust prevention stuff. Eastwood or fluid film makes it and has a straw with what looks like a cellar nozzel as we call it in the fire department. The type head that you have a plumber use that sprays water on those things they will run through a pipe to...

Legality of rolling back an odometer

Here a Salvage title is what you get if your car is totaled. I had one on a Saturn. I never dropped full coverage. Ended up having a deer run into the door and side of The hood. Cause enough damage they totalled it. It was still perfectly driveable just plastic parts busted. I bought it back and...

Legality of rolling back an odometer

I looked it up once. I am not sure how much of a break Antique plates give you. It seemed very similar to regular plate cost. And legally you could only use said vehicle in and drive to and from events such as car clubs, parades sanctioned events, shows etc. It is illegal here to use an antiqued...

Legality of rolling back an odometer

Just use the mileage on the cluster, no one cares or will ask anything about it. No reason to roll it back cause it doesn't matter that truck will be worth what it's worth cause all the random parts.
