    Took mine up to the school today where my wife teaches to help her out with her room. Hers may have AC but mine is prettier :) Stopped at the store on the way and a friend of mine was there. He offered me $5k for my truck right then and there....I turned him down :33:

    Looking at the sticker under the hood of my ‘84 C10 it says it came with a painted rear bumper. Any idea what color it was according to the code? My dad painted it white while I was gone. I know it was a dirty gray before he painted it but I didn’t know if the original color wore off or what...

    Only thing I’ve done to mine lately is crank it up and move it to cut the grass. The pea patches have been keeping me busy the last few weeks.

    Put some new weather stripping on my windows and lubricated the inside of the doors today. With the garden stuff being ready and all the rain we’ve had this week I haven’t been able to do too much.

    There had been some old clothes and a saddle blanket in the cab. I guess they had enough to chew on with that and left the bench seat alone!

    Took a wire brush to the inside of the distributor as there was a small bit or corrosion. Also you’d be amazed how good the air blows when you clean out what the rats put in...it was full from the back of the fan to the exit of the vent.

    Took my 72 year old mother for a ride in my ‘84 this past weekend. The truck belonged to her father and the last time she rode in it was to take her mother to the doctor back in the early 90’s. She was overwhelmed with joy and can’t wait to go again. I teared up...just a little....

    Oil pressure sensor location?

    On my ‘84 C10 with the L6 motor I found the tan wire that is supposed to connect to it but I cannot locate the sensor/sender. I see the oil pressure switch but that’s it. Supposedly a new head was put on the motor some years ago so maybe that’s why?

    Thanks to everyone for the replies. I was given this truck by my uncle for helping him cut some hogs and it’s been sitting in the bushes the last 10 years. We’ve got it running and moving but obviously there’s a lot of other things that will need to be done. Expect to see me on here often ;)

    It’s not a fuel line...it’s connected to this piece close to the distributor. But I’m not sure if that is even correct.

    I just acquired my grandfather’s 84 C10 and am currently going through it. I came across this piece and I have non idea what it is. The motor is an in-line 6, 4.1. I’m not sure if this hose is even connected correctly. It’s on the passenger side of the motor.
