87 350 tbi runs fine until i stop
Throttle body’s are fun! Did they ever make keys specifically with the GMC or Chevy bowtie logo on it? Or did all squares use the generic GM logo keys?
Noticed that when a ‘70 deville was in the shop. Also noticed the 64 bel air I’ve been working on has the standard rounded/squared GM keys, but there’s lightning bolts on both sides lol. Don’t think those are original but they’re still kinda cool -

Lol yeah yeah yeah, I know I know…but hell, minus the paint, it’s almost back to factory original inside n out and everything works as intended, so I’d say it’s just about done and nearly ready for its new owner to take it -

If you’re not any good at wiring, just pull the thing and get a direct replacement from American auto wire. That Delco G1852 is almost certainly the right one for your 76. The 1/2” -14npt nailhead style was used till like 79? 80? I wanna say I’ve read there were 3 diff coolant temp sensors for gauges, with matching gauges, that used different resistors to correspond with its sensor counterpart. I...- John Nes

Those might be the nicest covers I have, and I know I have a stack of em around here that have the caps, some have no caps, some are missing the fake lugs, some have all the lugs…point being, if I get another GMC cap or 2 I can Frankenstein a full GMC set (and probably a full yellow bow tie set)... -
