    Brake bleeder system

lol....still keeping the wife outta this....regardless of the outcome of the "correct" process....still her fault by golly! Good idea though, some mention applying grease around where it threads in to slow the air.

    Brake bleeder system

saw that also. Think I tried that but kept getting bubbles. Not understanding how it works probably turned me away from it thinking I still had air (was on a 90-91 chevy...model to have known issues troubleshooting spongy brakes). I guess when the bleeder sucks air in....it's after the...

    Brake bleeder system

hmmm....so we have some old suction units at work. I could use one to do it as well (low vacuum of course). Tells you how much thought I've put into this since the last argument.....20 plus years ago lol

    Brake bleeder system

is there such a system that works for one person to bleed the brakes? Tired of paying for brake parts to be changed cuz I don't wanna get into an argument with the wife (happens every time cuz she don't listen lol). Willing to pay up to $120, but prefer the $70 I'm getting ready to pay to have...

    Wheel well liners

agree.....There's holes there for something but.... Anyway, I've been thinking about the same thing. I recall reading that some have used everything from rubber to roofing material. I'm sick of mud/cow sh|t getting slung everywhere underneath.....all starting rust from the inside.

    5.3LS won’t rev?

just a quick google search. check for vacuum leaks with starter fluid around intake/vacuum lines? Spray here and there and if the idle changes....home in on it. That code could be: • Vacuum leak • Leaking air intake after the throttle body • EGR valve leaking vacuum • Faulty positive...

What have you done to your square lately??

playing with the AStro 1142 rivnut installer on old rusted fenders. I figured out real quick you can over tighten it. Broke the 10-24 mandrel :( As for assisting water sealing rivnuts, should I put silicon or an o-ring before installing? This is on the top of the cab for the visor.

What have you done to your square lately??

forgot to mention. If using hose for trans lines anywhere, you need to check them often for cracks/leaks. If one is looking bad, replace them all. Good idea to keep an eye out for fluid lines out of your driveway.

What have you done to your square lately??

to keep it short, if using hose for your trans lines, always try to use a longer length of metal tubing and run the hose over it double clamped. As for the bends....bend the metal line a bit and put the hose clamps on different axis.....don't leave the metal line straight. Try your best to...

Searching for a modern sound system

good thing about using rca cables is you don't have to run as many cables, and you don't have to worry about all that speaker wire running to your amp before it goes back out. Less likely to short out the speaker cables and taking out the left/right channels on the amp as well.

What have you done to your square lately??

ordered a pair of Humvee fold down steps to play with. May put them on the rear bumper corners, the front bumper. We'll see. [edit] ebay $63 shipped.

What have you done to your square lately??

if the first pic is your trans lines, I would put metal lines at least 4" long on those and put a slight bend in them. Then put a clamp on each side of the bend. Last thing you want is one of those lines to pop off the barb fittings. I put the bend so it's harder for the line to slip off if a...

Searching for a modern sound system

Gotta define "loud". I'm older, but I'd say I'm mid-range-above-mid-range quality ear. Kids want it loud....and don't care how it sounds. Then you have those that will have it all crisp/clear/deep/expensive. With about 45% crisp/clear/deep/expensive......Go with a head unit of your liking...
