    Headliner Woes

Can you fiberglass cross bows to the top of the headliner? I'm thinking something the the batten strips in a sail or something along those lines going side to side. Something like this with some spring to it...

What have you done to your square lately??

I parked my truck at the body shop for a month only to be told Friday that he sold his shop and it would be another month before he could get to it at his home shop. Does that qualify as doing something or doing nothing to my square?

    Headliner install in no-factory-headliner cab?

There is actually 8 trim pieces on a regular cab truck. You have the pillars and the whole perimeter of the headliner. The factory just used sheet metal screws for the trim and I'm guessing they didn't predrill, I suspect they just ran them in. The only screws through the headliner are the...

    Terrible camber

Mine isn’t quite as bad and I have a 3” drop spindle and a 3” drop spring. I’m looking into control arms for mine but undecided whether I’ll stay with springs or go to airbags.

My mistake, apparently I have poor reading comprehension this morning. Looks like you're on the right track.

You may have to get some new control arms to correct the shim problem but let us know if the ball joint works. Something like this: https://westernchassis.com/1973-87-chevy-c10-truck-tubular-control-arm-set-upper-and-lower/

700R4 went out while towing. Culprit?

If you were in OD that's going to be most of your issue I think. I would get it rebuilt and roll with it and remember to use 3rd when hauling anything besides your lunchbox.

We are almost strictly rock salt where I'm at unless the county is particularly poor. Some counties will only plow on weekdays and put sand down on the ice that was created from driving on the unplowed roads. It's good times.

I had the guy send me pictures of all the places Michigan trucks rust so imagine my surprise when he met me at the airport with the truck. I had sequoia needles packed in the cowl and bottoms of the fenders just to keep everything nice and damp at all times.

Unfortunately the radio hole needs to go in my truck. I bought this just for some metal around the windshield so I can fix my truck. No one told me when I bought my truck that they rust from the top down in Oregon!

I’m not sure if any of this is useful to anyone but if someone wants something off this piece of cab you can have it for the cost of shipping.

I have dropped spindles and drop springs, the rear is notched with an axle flip and airbags but it's a 6/8 drop. I am going to change the Belltech spindles for Western Chassis spindles one of these days because the tie rod comes up from the bottom with the Belltech and you get some bump steer...

There was a couple running around the Flint area in the 80's and I always liked them. I had sort of forgotten about them until I saw the one last year. The guy caught me taking a picture of it.
