I bought 2 grilles, one with some broken fins, one that spent it's life in the desert so it looks almost sandblasted and eventually found a NOS grille. They are out there but they are hard to find and expensive like Bucket said.
You could try heli-coils. I'm not sure if it would hold but it's cheap enough and you can get the kit just at the parts store or hardware. I've had good success using heli-coils in aluminum in the past.

The fact of the matter is that poly bushings work for most people. I suspect the problem some people have lies with a lack of lubrication and improper torque but who knows? I have a pickup and when I installed them I feel the ride improved. It seemed to have more torsional rigidity and...
Well, lady shiftpro, I must have gotten some super special ones then. My truck rode a bunch better after the poly mounts and my old ones weren't all blown out.
Pull the rocker cover off and check if you have a rocker arm off the pushrod. I had that happen with the 305 in my 86 GMC. I thought I blew it up but didn't discover the rocker arm until I had already bought a new engine.
I would start with some proper lowering springs and if you have the stock bump stops on the lower control arms I would trim those. For the rear maybe look at Western Chassis and see if they have a lowering leaf spring option.
I am going to assume you don't know what your front spindles are?
Right on. I didn't scroll through that stuff but thought I remembered they were the same when I bought my new control arms. I suspect someone has what he needs for next to nothing.
Might I suggest you sell rather than scrap if it comes to that? I wonder if hd C20 stuff is the same as C30 parts? It's possible someone on here has the parts you need for cheap and can help out. Try a post on the wanted section before you completely give up.
Looks like you guys are doing a good job so far! The questions about lowering are sometimes slow to be answered but most every other subject gets a pretty quick response so don't be afraid to ask anything.
I tried to order a WC kit through Summit and it showed it as back ordered for months and finally gave up and bought from Switch Suspension. The problem was a part that Summit had spec'd and they couldn't get it after the rona shutdowns. Hopefully your transaction goes a little smoother. Make...
