Your reading comprehension must be low if you didn't catch what he was looking for with the title. This isn't the first time you have come out and told guys how silly their trucks look because you don't like them. Let the guy get the information he wants and leave your bullshit elsewhere.
So if you dislike lowered trucks what's the point to posting in this thread? What exactly are you hoping to accomplish? You can clearly see what this thread is so I would suggest you just keep on rolling because no one asked if you liked lowered trucks.
Just an FYI for you, you're going to need a lot more than fenders and a hood. You'll need the core support, hinges, bumper and brackets, etc. Are you positive the cab is a 78 cab converted to the '81 and newer front clip?
I think there's a difference in perception about old vehicles.
If it's old but really shiny it's good.
If it's old and rusty it's junk driven by some low life.
If it's old, rusty but modified in some way it becomes good again.

My 86 GMC had the same issues. The windows would get slower and slower until they just wouldn't work. I found cleaning the all the tracks, rollers, etc. would fix it for a while without actually having to replace the motor.
