Yes I did for sure. The 1988-94 is just a thinner seat, top to bottom. The foam is more dense, yet sits comfortably too. -

Both fit just fine. The 60/40 is just harder to install because of the transmission, and making another set of 1980s seat tracks bolt down in the center of the cab. -

700r4 speedo port not spinning at all.
I've only seen it one time in my 52 year life, but the driven gear inside and on the tailshaft has a small metal clip. The clip had broken on this truck that kept that inside gear locked on the transmission shaft. Then the gear was push back down the shaft so the drive and driven gear didn't...- BadBowtie

Random Service Engine Soon light
I was going to ask what year we are dealing with. Sounds like a 1987-91 now. I had a 1983 truck with a worn out 305cid. The CEL would come on when she ran 2 quarts (or more) low on oil. That is that 2nd oil pressure sensor, down by the oil filter. Just more data for someone else....- BadBowtie

1984 did move the switch to the column, but the washer pump stayed up on the wiper motor. That is the difference....- BadBowtie

Yes, just sell what you have to someone in here wanting to do the 1989-91 swap. Then take your money to a junkyard for a used 1983-87 GMC Sierra Classic nose. You will need a 1983-87 quad-headlight radiator support, all lights and mounting hardware/springs,etc., front headlight wiring... -
Windshield Wiper Fluid Line Rounting 1986 K30
1973-84 all had the metal washer spray nozzles bolted down to the forward edge of the windshield cowling (up under) and had the wiper motor mounted pump. 1985 was the first year for a windshield washer tank mounted washer pump. It is also when GM moved those spray nozzles, they clipped them up... -
Headlamp Adjusters
I bought new GM adjust nuts from my GM dealer. They were all green, in NOS GM bags. Better than the white ones which seem to be be breaking everytime I drive my 1984 now. LoL -

So lowering the back of an otherwise stock truck could effect the "locking ratio" of said truck in an accident?? -
Dash Mat Covers
A couple of window tint places sale them here in my Texas town. Also seem them at a local O'Reilly parts store once. Try Autozone, Advance Auto parts- Heck, even a tire shop here has them to order. Good luck. -

Do intermittent wipers use a different wiper motor?
Correct. Just plug in play. Get a junkyard or new delay wiper dash switch and the pulse/delay module. It all plugs inline together with your current underdash harness.- BadBowtie

How Do I swap my 1985 c10 grille to a 88-91 suburban?
Search the junk yards for a wrecked 1989-91 crewcab, Jimmy, Blazer, and Suburban. As long as you get the 4 headlight system lights, it should unbolt from the firewall fuseblock connector. Remove your 1985 forward light harness then plug in the newer 1989-91 harness. BAM. Your done. Or you can...
