    Suburban Rear Cargo leaks

    I used a bit of Storm Blaster over the top edge of the seals on the outside because I had a couple of drips coming in. Seemed to work. I heard the seals may be hard to get to replace. I never researched it further. Just got out the caulking.

    Go with the zero rate as stated and slide that front axle a hair forward too at the same time. It'll give better tire to firewall clearance at the same time.

    Gearbox swap for 2wd to 4wd conversion

    Put in the 4x4 unit instead of trying to change the 2x4 unit. You have to have a four-wheel drive output shaft. Also keep in mind the 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive tranny humps are different so you may have some clearance issues depending upon the situation
