    Sniper efi a/c wiring

“A” is a ground input telling the ecm to increase the iac to compensate for the compressor load. You would need to use the 12v supply to the compressor clutch to close a 5 pin relay. Then supply a ground to pin 30 and connect lead “A” to pin 87.

    Temperature and oil gauge

Ive had issues with oil pressure readings caused by the circuit board behind the dash cluster. The bulbs for lighting the guages caused some heat damage over the years. Have you checked in there yet?

What have you done to your square lately??

Started the process of replacing all the fuel lines again. Hopefully the Gates hose and PTFE will last longer than the junk fitech sent me.

    EFI rated fuel plumbing solution

Im planning to take that route. I appreciate the input. I looked into the stainless line idea today for a price estimate. McMaster-Carr sells the components and i had over $700 involved. No way im doing all of that lol

    EFI rated fuel plumbing solution

Has anybody ever tried the stainless tubing and swagelok fittings adapted to AN fittings? That would make a permanent run from the tanks to the engine bay if they would work.

    EFI rated fuel plumbing solution

Ive installed a fitech 600 power adder about 5 years ago and have had multiple leaks from hose failure lately. Ive got a functional dual tank setup using an 86 selector valve (truck is an 84) and all rubber hose at this point. Is there a better solution using steel for plumbing the majority of...

    1985 4x4 Fuel System

I think one of the 3 hose barbs on the sending units is the tank vent. Should be a few inch long hose with a plastic vent on the end. You can look at the unit out of the tank to determine the suction and return ports. If i can find an old one in my shop ill post a pic showing which one is what

NP208 front output yoke seal washer for nut

Thanks for the good info. Im hoping there is a chance my local parts stores might have that washer on hand. I got lucky that napa had the shaft seal and sleeve in stock so maybe ill get lucky again. If not, atleast ive got a known source online.

NP208 front output yoke seal washer for nut

Chasing some oil leaks after letting the truck sit for a few years. My 84 k20 has the 208 t case and im replacing the front output shaft seal. Ive got the yoke sleeve and seal but wasnt aware of the odd spline shaped rubber seal for the shaft splines. Does anyone know the current part number...

    Fitech screen mount

I like that idea. The first generation screen had the 2 cords come out of the top of the body so sadly i doubt it would fit.

    Fitech screen mount

Ive been trying to find a good permanent mounting solution for the fitech screen in my 84. Has anybody found or made a good looking mount or holder? I was thinking to locate it between my retrosound unit and the tank selector switch. Any ideas? Thanks!

    350 Water Pump Woes

This damage isnt from abrasion is it? Maybe casting sand was still in the cooling passages of the block/heads?

1987 Chev R20 Detroit Diesel Swap

I looked into that idea many years ago but decided it was too much work. It would take alot of custom fitting for coolers, linkage, and plumbing. I remember there were adapters for the nv4500 trans that came in the dodge trucks though. I just opted to buy a diesel truck and keep my square a gasser

EFI fuel hose splitting at barb connectors of selector switch

Ive installed a fitech system about 4 years ago and used the 86 tanks and selector valve for dual tanks. I found that the lines are splitting at the selector valve hose barb connections already. The lines are not hard and brittle yet either. I hate to think ive got to pull the bed again and...
