    How do I fix this? I applied three coats of clear coat last Thursday (May 20th) allowing it to dry between coats as per instructions on can. The temp was around 81 degrees with humidity at 75%. I have allowed it to cure for 5 days. I do not have the liberty of a climate controlled paint...

    Thanks for the video. Those are really bright. Do they still work correctly with headlights on? That!!! is where/when I loose mine. If nothing else works, I will look into the LEDs you installed.

    Thing is, when they were all incandescent, they worked fine. So, not sure if it is the ground. But will keep in mind.

    bulbs look like the first picture. I have ordered the 3 different dual function bulbs to try. Concerned that they may be too tall for marker lens. Guess I will see soon. I also ordered the LED side marker replacement lens set up.

    Yep, no help. I know they are polarity sensitive. They light up (dimly), blink (dimly) when headlights are off. But when headlights are on, they do not blink at all - the side markers. The parking/signals under the headlamps work fine with headlights on or off.

    I did try putting back in the original incandescent bulbs but with the LED relays, they barely would blink. I have 3 types of dual function ordered. Hopefully!!!!!! One will work. They are the wedge 164 bulbs I am replacing.

    Window crank parts

    I am replacing my interior door panels. When I removed one side, there was a large spring behind the door panel for the window crank. Behind the other panel, there was a thick foam "spacer". Which is the correct part so that I can order the correct replacement part. Thanks.

    Oh, Sorry. Mine was painted black and the screw heads were black, so I repainted it, and the screw heads, black. I guess because of the black stripe on the body trim? :shrug:

    When I cleaned of the seal/gasket off the backside of the rail, it cleaned up chrome.

    Both side markers will not blink when headlights are on and signal engaged. The front turn signal under the headlight works fine because it is a dual function.

    Yes, the ones on front fender - the ones below headlights work fine. I am havimg an issue with the fender side markers. I have switched to LEDs and they are the only ones that are acting up. Headlights off, they blink. Headlights on, they do not blink and do not light up. I checked polarity...

    Can someone please tell me if the front maker lights on a 1978 Chevy C10 are supposed to blink when the turn signal is engaged? Since I am normally driving, I really do not know if they are supposed to blink or not. Thanks.

    Thanks to everyone. I have ordered it. Until it arrives, I will work on getting the old seal off. Any suggestions on best/easiest way to get it off safely without kinking the trim?

    Thanks. What width did you use - 1/2" or 1/4"? I found some 3M auto molding tape. And you are correct, they were a PIA to get out, can certainly believe their will be a frustration getting back in.

    I have a 1978 C10 and I have removed the over the window drip rail to clean them up. On the back of the drip rail, there appears to be a seal, so metal isn't touching metal? Does anyone know where to find a replacement seal, or what can I use to replace the seal. Or would this be an option...
